Thanks for the response. Rumor has it that he may well show up Saturday, but so far Hubbs and Paul have not been able to confirm it.

I had forgotten about Lawson and D Liner wanting to play together -- Liner is a heck of a player, but he may be a head case. Still, Lawson and Liner would be a fine pair of to work with on defense. I hope they both show up this weekend and we can get them set up for an official.

Is there much talk down there about Chizik's seat getting hot if he is unable to turn the season around?? It might get interesting if the hog slaying ULM Warhawks make it two in a row this weekend.

Not yet. He made two reaaly bad hires over the offseason though, IMO. The reports of Dee Liner being a "head case" are blown way out of proportion as well.

If Chiznik doesn't make it past this season, I wonder if the guy that booed that him at the airport will come back out of the woodwork.

Agreed, being arrested twice in the span of 10 days and suspended from his High School team was just a mirage. A mirage I tell ya.

The rumor is they will receive a NOA this week, so we will have to wait and see.

Also anything involving Devinners has no part of the investigation. It seems he may have attached himself for whatever reason but his role will play very little with what the NCAA is looking at.
