Jmo, never try to apply BMI to football players. Actually, bmi not good for ANY athlete evaluation. It does not factor in lean body mass at all.
This.....I'm 5'9-5'10 and weigh 185-190 with around 4-5% body fat. I had someone tell me once that I needed to weigh 160 and I've been 180-190 for almost 10 years now.[/
BMI drives me crazy...morbid obesity is relative, but medicare has it tied to bmi. It is incorrect for athletic and obese alike. McCullers bmi would be 43.9 borderline morbid obesity...yet he is not. Flawed system.
He's going to take his visits, but he is probably our most solid commit. He recruits vocally for AU. That's not a guy that's waivering in the slightest.
-AuburnSports.comAgreed. There's no wavering in Lawson. He and Liner have formed a friendship and they love the prospects of playing with each other.
Auburn Mods on concerns of Lawson eventually flipping to Tennessee on NSD:

-Rivals.1. DE Carl Lawson, Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton:
Lawson was hands down the best player at the event and created the most buzz by dominating as a defensive lineman and then playing linebacker as well. His explosiveness off the snap is amazing and he's as powerful as he is quick.
-Carl Lawson."I'm not here to prove I'm No. 1 in the country, I'm just here to come out and compete and see what's out here," Lawson said. "I don't care what my ranking is."
"I feel like in rankings sometimes politics go into it, so I don't worry about that and I'm just looking to test my ability. You have to play this sport fast and violent and I'm just out here to play my best."
