"I talked to coach Elder and he said he was going to come back down next week. That was the first time I had met him. I usually talk to coach Graham," Kemp said. "It was good. He explained a lot about the school and that got me very interested."
"Just talking about playing time and the style of offense they're going to be running and how I have a good chance to come in and play because all of the other guys that are there are going to be getting used to the playbooks just like I am if I do go there," Kemp said. "So, everybody's just going to be starting off on a fresh start and that sounded good. Then, he was talking about my running ability and the way I run the ball and how it fits the offense and it just got me all fired up."
"I'm just going to approach it open minded. I still have to go up for an unofficial to South Florida and I just have to keep an open mind because I've got to see the place where I'm going to spend my next four years so I'm going to approach it open minded and soak up everything and just go from there. Whichever place feels like home than that's where I'm going to go to," Kemp said.
Kemp said it's down to Pitt and West Virginia, who he's already officially visited, as well as Tennessee, Kentucky and South Florida and noted that the environment he feels on campus will be the biggest factor in his decision.
"The environment. I know the facility part is great and I know all of that so I'm going to be focusing on the environment and how the teammates interact," Kemp said.
