'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

I'm almost positive we'll get one of Henry, Green, or Truman. I think we'll get Green and Truman. Perfectly okay with that, too.

Why does everyone all of a sudden have confidence we'll land two of the top RB prospects in the country in the same class? Just a question.

It's one or neither. Which folks have said we're landing Henry? Most reputable people I've seen are saying Bama.

Skeet says CJG feels really good about Henry, and OCI said Henry's rescheduling of visits go in the Vols favor.

I think Turman is already locked up, OCI confirmed, good pickup imo.

I wanna believe this, but I don't think so. If he wanted to commit,I would hope we would let him go ahead. Our second string RB is 160 pounds, so the need is obvious. He is aware or the other backs we are recruiting, and with our need, shouldn't scare them off. They were all around each other last weekend. I just don't believe the talk that we told him to hold off. JMO.

"Feeling good" doesn't really mean anything, and I have a lot of trust in skeet.

I'm pretty sure TW has said Henry's visit this weekend was a UOV. He's having his family in town for the game, etc. I think it's set-up for him to commit to Bama, and then he will take an OV to Bama later in the year.

It's not like they would be afraid to come to UT if the other one did also. Bama already has 2 stud RB's committed. Michigan, Auburn and VT all have 1 current RB commit. They both seem to really like UT, the staff, the fans, game atmosphere, have been on campus many times and see the need for elite RB's in UT's backfield. I'm not sure why it's such a stretch to think we could get both. Of course it's not something I would bet on but to call folks cookoo and think there's not even a remote possibility doesn't make sense to me.

Who quoted Henry saying he's not afraid of competition? HG seems to have a good source on Henry. He said not to let Henry fool anyone. He's going to Bama.

At one point UT had Charlie Garner, Jame "Little Man" Stewart and Aaron Hayden...do not forget Jay Graham. We can have a group just like this again!!!

You still haven't explained how "not even a remote possibility" makes sense. Both of them were here last week for OV's on top of everything else I've listed about them, will you please explain this "not even a remote possibility" to us?

Wow they would make a nice 1-2 punch! Reminds of when Auburn had Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown.

I think if the coaches feel good it means something, it doesn't mean they think he's a lock, but i think they like the chances.

That's true, but I can't remember a better combo than Cobb and Webb. Green and Henry would get us back to that level of smash-mouth, can't do anything about it, running attack.

Then you throw in the distinct possibility of Bray, Hunter and CP coming back...along with the freshman WR's we have this year and Paul Harris (2013 commit)? Like Eli says...it's gonna be on like Donkey Kong!

People who think there is even a remote possibility we'll get both Derrick's are a little cuckoo, IMO.

It's my opinion. The main reason is because there are way too many sources saying Bama right now for Henry. It's not a remote possibility because I don't think there's a chance right now Henry signs with UT. Thus, that would make signing both of them not exactly possible.
