I know what he was ranked. He earned Gatorade Player of the Year for on field performance. My point is that SS came across like he was dissing our QBs to get his point across. I also believe in my heart that the recruiting services KNOW they undervalued Worley's ability but wouldn't swallow their pride and give him the bump. And while Spurrier did not offer, UF, FSU, Tennessee, LSU, ND, and Stanford did. So we could compare stars or offers...I'm going with offers.
Again, I'm very well aware of Peterman and his potential. But dude was touting AW's top billing as a DT QB, which I'm convinced a large part was a result of good camp performances. JMO. While Worley's accolades came from on field performance. I need more coffee and I feel like I'm rambling. But I just take offense when dude acts like our current QBs and recruits are chopped liver.
JMO, but offers from MAJOR SEC PROGRAMS > more stars with no SEC OFFERS. But hey that's just me.
Coach's miss out on guys all the time, especially at the QB position. Hell Bray didnt have any SEC offers either. But still Spurrier never offered Worley for some reason and he's in his back yard. And as people point out regularly on players how many of those offers were committable? Not knockong Worley at all, he's a kid and all Vol. But just a point I am trying to make. And honestly so far from what I have seen of Worley I can see why Spurrier didnt offer. Really think Peterman wins the job. Who knows if he does if Worley will transfer. If he does then we got problems only having 2 scolly QB's. So that definitely has to weigh on Jones as if to offer 2 QB's this class or take a chance and hope no one transfers
