That's why I am not to concerned about what he was rated because I know he is going to kick buttowski on the field this fall.

He's relentless off the edge plain and simple. He's fun to watch on film. Got some brutal hits on some of the QBs while their turning the ball loose. Uses his hands very well to shed blocks. Watch his Youtube film. Good fit for the Jack.

He can morph into a cartoon?
I was & am not worried either. He is going to be ready out of the box, & he will even improve over time. He will be a good VOL.

I think all 4 of our current commits end up 4* as long as they keep camping and showcase their skills. Vereen looks really good to me. Really like this pick up.

Vereen is solid but the OS is the worst paper to judge fooball potential..they couldn't tell you the difference between a 3-4 for and a 4-3.

No offense to you or Corey. I like Corey's film a lot and am very glad he is a Vol, but damn I'm sick of seeing freshman on the field.

He's being recruited as an OLB that may play some JACK. He's trying to be an early enrollee. He gets upfield in a hurry and just seems to have a nose for whoever has the ball and has good closing speed for someone his size.

Playing a few isn't a bad thing. Having them all over the field is when there's growing pains. Bama and LSU play a lot of freshmen. You've just got to have experience surrounding them. Vereen playing with two three year starters(Aj and Maggitt) wouldn't be a bad thing.
