'13 FL ATH Lemond Johnson (UT Commit 12/16/12)

I love the hire of Butch Jones and I trust him to hire the staff and bring in the players he thinks will make his system work.

There has only been one coaching hire in the past twenty-thirty yrs that has been a pretty much a guaranteed success and that was nick Saban when he came back from the Dolphins.....The rest have had questions.....Butch is a proven winner....tireless worker.....and is very confident in his self and his staff....he will win here.

You trust him because that's all we've got for the next 4 or so years. He's not a "proven winner", he's a proven decent coach in a terrible league without a particularly prominent or important win under his belt. I'm just not going to fall under the same delusion that you all do every single time we make a hire.

Meaning, the last guy was terrible, this guy is who we need, he's "wants to be here" (probably the dumbest justification of them all), he really knows how to evaluate that unknown talent (Where did I hear that before? and so on and so on.

I really hope Johnson is the next coming of Donta Hightower and Jones is going to prove something that he's never done before and win at a high level with a program he built. I'm not buying the rainbows and sunshine, though, until it happens, especially when I've heard this same song and dance before.

A person has every right to believe a coach will get them to the promised land. Who are you to tell fans any different. If a person wants to have passion for his team and excitement over a new recruit who are you to piss on it? Stop telling people how to think.

How bout you just go ahead and slit your wrists instead of trying to get everyone else to do it with you. Stop whining and give the man a chance. CBJ and his staff have done more recruiting in their first week than Dooley and his staff did in 3 years. The man knows what he is doing, so stfu and go crawl under a rock or something.

Idk how I feel about this. Interested to see how big he is playing safety.

What's funny is that he's a 5.7 3*. If he was just .1 higher, he would be a 5.8 4* and everybody would be thrilled with the commitment.. When it's that close, it doesn't really matter.

Another thing, I think it's a bit easier to trust this staff's evaluations compared to the last staff.

I don't know how you can believe this when we have yet to see their product on the field. I support Butch but no way you can say this right now.

I'll take a 5.7 EE over a 5.8 who enrolls in the summer or fall every single time.

Kiffin would have had this roster full of 4 and 5 stars by now. Get over the Kiffin deal. He would still be here if the USC job had not come open.

2013 commitments so far for USC
16- five 5 stars and eleven 4 stars.
So why haven't you switched your allegiance to USC and the Kiffenators? Wait! You already did, didn't you? You are just here to troll on us. I get it. Good job, you actually had me believing that you were a Vols fan there for a while.

I don't care if our roster is full of five stars or one stars.......I care about winning......something kiffin has yet to do at USC.
