'13 FL ATH Lemond Johnson (UT Commit 12/16/12)

His name is Kiffin....him misses his daddy....

Kiffin would have had this roster full of 4 and 5 stars by now. Get over the Kiffin deal. He would still be here if the USC job had not come open.

2013 commitments so far for USC
16- five 5 stars and eleven 4 stars.

I hate Kiffin as much as everyone else but if he stuck around we'd be competing already and preparing for a upcoming bowl game.

If Kiffin had stuck around we would be on a bowl ban, limited # if scholarships & in serious trouble with the NCAA. It's amazing how everyone talks about how great he recruited here yet he was blatantly cheating (evidence by us being on probation) & the majority of kids he signed were flops or thugs.

The kid has a good frame. I like the commit. Flipping an SEC rivals commit who Tennessee continually competes with for recruits is a statement. I'm not sure why they would play him at safety with the depth there and the need at corner. He also needs to work on tackling. Solid offer list confirms that he isn't a nobody. Cameron Sutton 2.0.

Also at least take the time to watch his film before you talk about how we don't want\need him. Solid high character kid. Yes Tennessee needs more impact guys but he is solid.

Average SEC speed. Another slow DB at this level.
Umass,Fla Intl,BC and East Carolina are very impressive.
Only time he would sniff the LSU campus would be on the visiting sidelines.
Do you know how many of the forty times listed on recruiting sites are accurate? Almost none. A HS player with a true sub-4.4 time is VERY, VERY rare. The fast ones are generally in the 4.5 range.

Do you know what Javier Arenas, Tyronne Mathieu, Denarius Moore, Arian Foster, Dallas Thomas, Dan Williams, Vinnie Sunseri, and MANY other SEC stars have in common with this kid?

Feel welcome to go root for USCw. No one is stopping you. No one will miss you.

Kiffin's team is full of kids with high ratings as recruits... and they're getting beaten by teams loaded with 3* players or lower.

your boy kiffin is barely competing at USC with talent.if he was here we would of already been hit with major violations.Im sure they still have room on the trojan bandwagon if you want to jump on.

Ain't that the truth... That was a free fall out there this season...:hi:

Hey star gazers, this is an excellent get! Don't get caught up in how our "class" ranks based on stars. Talent is easily calculated but potential is an entirely different beast. Potential is what can be coached-up and we have the staff to do that, IMO. I am thrilled with this....and, I was also thrilled with that heavily recruited 5* out of Georgia a few years back...remember him...Da'rick! Eh...hem...how did that work out for us? Get behind this recruit...he looks solid! Go CBJ and GBO!

Per the LSU mods, he did have a firm offer from LSU.

He lost interest in LSU after the commitments of White, RR, Jefferson, and Cutrer.

Personally, I like the commit. The secondary needs all the help they can get. Its already been said that when his senior film gets out, people will be very impressed.

Looks like a great pickup. Rated 4 star by Rivals Users. Taken from SEC rival(s). May play a position of need. Early enrollee. Creates buzz at a time when we need it...

Pay no attention to the naysayers, they enjoy spreading venom and vitriol.

There is a group of posters here that planned a concerted effort to flood our board with attacks and negative notions regarding our new coaching staff and everything they do.
They meet and mingle at a different board, some of you might know what I am talking about.

The best strategy against them is to ignore them.

JMHO.:hi:

This is an OK get, not bad, not great, just like our staff. At some point, you all have to stop the cycle for every new hire of pumping up the a situation to what they are not simply because of "hope" and "thinking positive" or "being a good fan".

Jones gets a pass this year for recruiting since he just started now, but people need to stop blowing sunshine out of their rear and start talking logically. Johnson is filler, which you need, but his chances of making the NFL are much less than Da'Rick, who is leaving a year early to be drafted in April.

Actually, I think we got at least one solid year out of Da'rick at a time when we really needed him. Obviously, there was great disappointment when he didn't play for us this year (oh, what could have been!), but yeah, I get your point. If guys have some ability, and they are coachable, then they are a good get.
