Anyone seen any public comments from this kid about the coaching change??
I think this is a pretty good athlete and could develop into a nice weapon in passing game..
Does anyone know if Coach Jones' offense utilizes a TE much and if so how much??
This kid has the measurables and his film is pretty impressive.. I think the guy could contribute on Defense but just curious to know more about the kid and his situation from someone who knows more about him and how he would fit..

This year Cincinnati's leading receiver was a TE, so Jones will use them in his offense.
Its kind of like their old staff, except they run the spread, Jackson said. Theyre friendly guys, but I just dont think theyll have use for me up there. Im still committed. I stay strong with Tennessee, but I dont want to get up there and they dont have any use for me. If I feel something is gonna go wrong, then I might have to change my direction, but for right now, Im staying strong with Tennessee.

The two main options for Jackson right now per the article are Oregon State and Houston. Houston is the one to watch, for Jackson stated that one of their assistants knows Jackson's current HS coaches and such. They used to play together.
Jackson further stated that the old staff was like family for him. He felt like with them here, he wouldn't feel homesick if he came to UT. Elder has already been out to see him, and it was just a greeting really.
I may be in the minority, but I prefer Quinn of all the TE's we are looking at.
This sounds about right. Whether the mesh that way when they get here is a different story though.I agree, if Quinn can catch a football I think he could be special at the position.
Quinn and Jackson could be a great class imo, Quinn seems a little more finess and Jackson could be a little more powerful. In the mold of Hernandez/Gronk haha I wish...
And how we implement TE's in the offense. I wouldn't mind going all Patriots where one week we use 2 TE's, another week we run it, another week we spread it out and pass it. With the amount of speed on defenses in the SEC, we gotta beat them by confusing the hell out of them (something the Patriots do beautifully)
