'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Doesn't mean much, but Ghost of Neyland backed off of his "Auburn lock" comments regarding Ford the other night. He said Auburn still leads, but that Tennessee is definitely not out. I'll vouch for him being reliable in the past.

And, IIRC, he made the comments before the Folston commitment came. That, IMO, changes a lot of things. The thing going for Auburn, regardless of the fact they have several RBs committed, they can still sell playing time. It'll be a battle for the starting job. At UT, Neal and Lane are going to be very tough to beat out.

I agree and thats why this is the perfect situation for a stud RB this year imo. Would get carries as the 3rd back, would like to add that Neal and Lane are not the most durable RB's either, then next year would be a clear #2 behind a senior Lane at worst.

Gary Haskew (Chatt. radio host) said that a source by the name of Batman, says to expect Ford to commit to the Vols. Who is Batman on UT boards?

I'm Batman but I don't know anything about Gary Hasksew's comment. I'm not an insider and I've never claimed to have any information on any recruit. Maybe there's another Batman in a parallel universe that I don't know about.

Uh, oh. Looks like we're headed for a crisis!

Auburn thinks they get both Ford and Barber along with Lawson.

Of course they do. Ever read their site? They probably think Trey Johnson's coming back, Liner will recommit, and to hear them tell it Cam will use a year of eligibility no one knew he had left to take them back to the top.

Yea I agree with the homerism attitude they put out there. It's pretty bad. Hubbs is usually pretty benign.
