Smh. I would hope it was another HS kid tweeting that & not an actual adult. Anyone tweeting recruits, the coaching staff doesn't need your 'brand' of help. If some of you all are bored go outside and headbutt a brick wall for awhile.

The only way this is a threat to Ford is if we have slow played him waiting on someone else. But I do not think that is the case.

The staff was looking for 2 backs anyways. Green and Ford compliment each other well in that they are 2 different runners. I'm sure the staff has relayed this to Ford if he had any concerns.

Good point...but the same sort of crap will be happening everywhere. The problem is the kids are only being exposed to what is being said by a handful of fans at just a few schools...it's hard to say whether they understand there are idiots everywhere or if they believe the problem is isolated to the schools and the fan bases that follow them and desire their services. It is really hard to say.

However, if you read the comments D Bellamy made about some seemingly jilted FSU fans, it is probably safe to say these sort of comments can make a kid re-think his decision. In Bellamy's case, this behavior could certainly come to haunt the Seminoles...but UT could be next if its fans start or continue to do the same stupid stuff.

Unfortunatly, there is nothing that can be done about it. We have stupid fans....and I mean truly stupid.....that really believe they are helping the team even though every thing they say makes them and us sound foolish. Add to that the people that are posing as UT fans, and purposly spewing garbage.......

All teams have the same problems. Like I said before. Hopefully these young men are smart enough to filter through the crap and understand that first of all the people tweeting represent a VERY small portion of the UT fanbase and half of them are only posing as TN fans.

I'm sure Ford realizes that with the no huddle there are too many plays for one back to handle. We need two great backs to spell each other. If they have different styles, that's a bonus.

I have one set up for business, & it takes very little time to set up an account. Could see rival fans trying this tactic.

I would like to think Mister Ford has done his homework and knows he is not a fallback. We want and need them both and a true UT fan would know that.

Vandy fan thinking his immature little prank will turn the tide back in their favor.

Would not be a bad idea IMO. At least let the kid know that it could have been a troll and he can look into it.

Also the possibility he already knows that. You would think kids now a days have learned all the online game BS.
