'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

This is just something I heard on the radio. Vandy's schedules for 11, 12 and 13 were/are the easiest ever. Franklin is a pretty fair coach but ambitious. He will stay around through the coming season an be on the market before a more usual schedule comes along in 14 and he won't have the talent to continue winning. After all, until the bowl game this season, Vandy didn't beat a single team with a winning record.

I made this same argument when we were looking for a coach and Franklin was thrown out. He has beaten Elon, Presbyterian, UMass, Army, UK (2), OM (2), and Wake Forest (2) for a majority of his wins. Not saying he is a bad coach because he has been great for Vandy. But it's not like he has been a world beater.

This kid seems like the perfect fit to me, a burner, good hands, and possibly dumping vandy for UT.
Cincy's old RB Pead is a player I see similarities, which had a good game vs us, Ford's speed is a must have, I'll take this kid and Barber.
Green is my #1 but we all have heard the rumors about about the blue weasels.

P.s. I'd rather have Von Bell then all them hahaha

Who cares about how they want to characterize a Ford, all that matters is that we leave Vandy riding a bike.

Alot of UA fans really want this kid but just not room in the class. This kid could be the Amari Cooper of the 2013 class. Meaning for UA was not one of the most heralded recruits in the class. It was names like Yeldon, Collins, G Smith, and even C Black was suppose to be the better WR coming out of HS. But in the end the freshman that had the biggest impact for UA was Cooper. Even Julio did not have 1000yds in his freshamn year for UA.

Ford can play ball and whoever lands him will get something special in my opinion.

Hope like hell he's running the ball at UT. I agree he has potential to be a very good SEC RB. And seems to be enjoying UT, would make a flip even more sweet getting one from that Douche over in Nashville.

Yeah the kid's film is pretty impressive. I'd rather have him on our team than have to play against him every year.

I agree and I hope it is the Vols that does land him.

Why didn't Bama not jump on him early if you are that worried about him?

Just a kid that blew up his senior year and UA looked at him as a DB because he is just that good of an athlete that could play either side of the ball, but he seems only interested in RB. I am sure every staff tries to not miss on a kid but it happens.
