This is just something I heard on the radio. Vandy's schedules for 11, 12 and 13 were/are the easiest ever. Franklin is a pretty fair coach but ambitious. He will stay around through the coming season an be on the market before a more usual schedule comes along in 14 and he won't have the talent to continue winning. After all, until the bowl game this season, Vandy didn't beat a single team with a winning record.
I made this same argument when we were looking for a coach and Franklin was thrown out. He has beaten Elon, Presbyterian, UMass, Army, UK (2), OM (2), and Wake Forest (2) for a majority of his wins. Not saying he is a bad coach because he has been great for Vandy. But it's not like he has been a world beater.
