'13 AL RB Johnathan Ford (no longer a Vandy commit)

Yeah, but whoever we get will share carries with Neal and Lane, so I doubt that's it.

I think other coaches have a good, negative spin on UT right now that is working. Constant coaching turnover, losing seasons, coach hired that a chunk of the fan base didn't want, havent placed a running back high in the draft in a long time, unreasonable fanbase, etc.

CBJ will do ok with this class. What he really needs to focus on is turning around the narrative of Tennessee. It shouldn't be that hard. Our facilities and tradition are better than anyone in the country.
I fixed it. Easy mistake...

Now Georgia offered.

Makes sense. Sounds like a good place for Ford. In today's SEC, if you are a good running back recruit, you want to put yourself in a school that already has multiple elite running backs committed and on campus. That way, you can find yourself on the bench and transferring to Arkansas State several years later.

(kidding)

We will see what happens. I can live with one more year of Lane and Neal, provided they stay healthy. I think I'm tapped out in the 2013 cycle. Been a crazy roller coaster. I still call a top 20 finish for us.

#UGA making Johnathan Ford feel like a "priority" tonight. McClendon and Friend have called. Another coach beeped in and Richt is calling.

Ford is a member of the Rivals250 after rushing for over 1,500 yards last fall. Ford's recruitment is blowing up. He received an offer from Tennessee and Auburn last week, officially visited both schools in the last three weeks, then received offers from Florida State and Georgia on Sunday upon returning from his visit to Auburn. Ford remains committed to Vanderbilt, but in light of his recent popularity, that seems short lived. Auburn made a big impression on Ford, but with two brand-new offers already on his table, Ford's recruitment may just getting started. Lean: AU/UT

Priority my a$$. UGA is missing out on Kamara and are desperate. This is crap.

It annoys me that some kids (not saying Ford will) eat this up.
