Was it noted here somewhere and I just missed it or misread that Kirven didn't actually make it last weekend and the visit was rescheduled?

Hopefully after his visit we will hear the words "blown away" and "new #1". Probably a pipe dream...he will be a tough pull from VT.

If we pull 2 of Kirven, O' Brien, and Tomlinson along with a lower ranked project, I think the DT class will be considered a success. We get the immediate help we need (Jacobs) along with talented guys who can contribute next year (Kirven, O'Brien or Tomlinson) and a guy who will be able to play in the future.

That's a tenuous group you have penciled in. Not being Neg. Nancy because damn don't we all want good DT's. I'll just hope the staff can definitely secure one and do what they have to for another.

I understand it's not likely. Just pointing out the kind of DL haul we need.

I agree. I really think we need 2-3 more DT's in this class besides Jacobs. . Two high quality and maybe one project with one of the two high quality guys being ready to be a contributor as a freshman. I would love to have Kirven and O'brein.

We have enough projects on the roster at DT. Clark, Jeffery and perhaps Carson. I would not care if all of DT's were JUCO this year.

If he was feeling Michigan so much why didn't he go ahead and commit before Pipkins to ensure a spot? Color me unconvinced. He's exploring his options. I think the door was closed. We'll see.
