Just went to the Texas Rivals board. They just got a commitment from a Daje Johnson, that makes them at 25 commits. This may be good news!!!!!

I just hope Dalton has no regrets with whatever choice he makes. He doesn't need any "I wish I had..." or "I told you so..." in his thinking or from his family. Clear the head and conscience, think/pray about it, make the choice, and never look back. Hope it is for the Vols, but if not, I wish nothing but good luck for him.

Remember when God told Bryce Brown to come to UT, transfer to KState, sit out 2 years and then enter the draft having only played one season of college fb?

I hope that he comes to UTK, but if he does go to UTX, I will be happy for him also. I just hope that it is HIS CHOICE and not be pressured into going there by his parents. I would really hate for him to go there and not be happy after a year and decide to transfer somewhere and have to sit out a year. He just really needs to sit back and do a lot of soul searching as to what will be the best for him for the next four or five years. JMO

If pleasing his parents and friends is what he wants to do, then so be it.
How do we know he is basing his decisions on what his parents want? We don't know that. He is probably taking a good look at the overall picture, and making a decision.
It takes a real man to consider others.

It takes real parents to honor their child's decison, to let go and to trust....Not to manipulate or guilt....to support him when it is critical decision point in the His life...

As long as Dalton can justify his decison to HIMSELF and follows a process in his SELECTION....I have no problem with it....But if parents are guilting him about a family move and life long dreams....They are selling him out and it becomes more about them than him.....

I think he keeps doing the Analysis and it keeps coming up UT vs TU....and his parents keep throwing up obstacles or tell him to go back to the drawing board....versus accepting his answer.....He will be miserable at TU if he goes there....

Those guys have been saying Texas for a while. They are making a guess, essentially. They have no more info than any of us.

Silence = still weighing his options. This isn't over by a long shot. He's been straight up with the coaching staff so far, so we'll get a definite answer the second he makes his decision. It might even be NSD when he actually does.

They are also trying o get a guy committed to Oregon. I guess it comes down to him or Santos for that last spot. Here we go boys.

The other guy said that he is sticking with Oregon. So they still have one open spot if Dalton wants it. I think we will know something within 24 hours. It must be close or he would have already announced something. As John Majors said, Hope for the best, but expect the worst.
