1986 huh? Nice try but I said 20 years! Try again though.

For those with the ignore comments, I couldn't care less. The obsession with these kids is kind of creepy to me anyway. 500+ pages of bs for this kid, please....

On Paper maybe.....LOL...Play an SEC 8 game schedule then talk about it....

A lot of trolls outside the SEC seem to think that they can come into the SEC and succeed.....the schedule is enough of 8 SEC teams week in and week out....It wears you out physically and mentality. It is not an easy task to go undefeated in this league...

Most OC schools play one or two equilvant upper tier SEC caliber teams a year and thats it....

At least you put I think behind it.....

Fair point. And I almost always say "I think". I find speaking in absolutes and stating opinions to be facts to be arrogant and not conducive to a meaningful intelligent discussion.

I know for a fact that if I was commited to another school, and Tennessee offered me a scholarship, I would jump on it. Even if it was a day before NSD. You can't be mad at him if he is a huge Texas fan and picks them. The same thing goes if I was in his dads position. As long as that is where my son wanted to go. You have to put yourself in their shoes.

What is the evidence for these claims? This is message board fluff that is being dreamed up. Publicly, Dalton has done nothing but speak positively about Texas. There is a photo in this thread of him throwing up the Hook'em Horns just yesterday.

Texas was chasing Mario Edwards & DGB and had a WR decommit because he was pissed Texas was recruiting DGB.

Yall still have Cayley jones right? I can't imagine he'd be scared off by dgb.

Trust me it is not all about this kid...the thread has taken some unusual turns and discussions of late.....big 12, arrogant Tx Fans, SEC, Mo and Tx A&M. just a little of everything....

I've seen alot of posters talk about Dalton's parents forcing him to go to Texas. Is this just wishful thinking?
I think Dalton needs to be forced to go to Tx about as much as Charlies Weiss has to be forced through the buffet line.

Just increase your Posts per Page count and it will be less than 200 pages ...

Didn't you go to Austin....

So if your son lets say had committed to Va Tech but had been a life long Vols fan. Then Tennessee offered a week prior to NSD you'd tell him to to still go to Va Tech???

I highly doubt any of us would do that, an opportunity to play at your dream school.....yea, you take it.

I would tell him it is his life/decision and hope that I've raised him well enough to make the right decision. I would be a little pissed honestly if my dream school took so long to notice and offer my son. JMO.

Thanks you guys. Austin was great. Ate a bunch of food from trucks, hung out with hipsters. Now I'm in Dallas and it is boring/awful.
