This kid has heart and a strong will to destroy anything in his path. Everything else is moot. Screw rankings, I'll take kids like this all day everyday.

One of his biggest knocks is his inability to excel in coverage downs, and his speed sideline-to-sideline. In his film, I fail to see that. JMO.

I think he looks slowish. I'm glad he is coming but I'm not nearly as excited about Santos as some.

A lot of guys are going crazy over Santos but Otha Peters is a better ball player in this class.

My HS rankings for our defensive recruits would be:

S McNeil
LB Peters
CB Crawley
DT O'Brien
DE Trent Taylor
LB Santos

If Elston comes here he would pass Santos on that list. I also think the other lower rated LBs have more potential than Santos. But not to discount Santos he's a good player. I just like other players in our class better.

Instinctual run-stoppers open up a lot of options for a defense. Santos is that. He's a battleship, not the most maneuverable, maybe, but you're not getting by him if he hits you.

CDD made Santos a priority because of his strength, not speed, he is a run-stopper. That is his forte.

True dat.

If you want to win your conference you have to design your team to beat the teams that always win that conference. Therefore we need a defense that can stop RBs like Richardson and Lacy.

Connect the dots... you bring in Santos as the cure for that type of back.

The unstoppable force meets the immovable object.

O'Brien is our second best defensive recruit. I would actually put Crawley behind Taylor and Santos too, although I like Crawley's size.

At least be fair and compare them at the same grade level if you're going to compare highlight vids. Santos' senior vid is going to be nasty.

Harris made a badarse sack about the :32 mark. Both seem to have a bead on who ever has the ball and hit them with bad intentions. Harris has the edge on speed in my opinion. I agree that I am glad that we have both of them.

I think it's hilarious that guys think he's going to just take Harris over. I think he's a smoother athlete than Santos and he's hitting too. He's got just as many big hits as Santos. For some reason Santos reminds me of that LB Wort that went to Oklahoma.

I like them both. Harris seems to have the speed advantage, but Santo's has better tackling abilities.
