LOL -- I began to feel my age when folks younger than I started to get "lifetime achievement" awards like the ones the Oscars give out.

But hey, I am pre-civil war, or so my daughter tells me.

Haha I have a bit to go before that. It just kinda struck me that I'm older than some pro players. I mean 21 doesnt feel old.

From one old poop to another,,,it's kind of fun watching the young one's slap each other around. Makes for great reading!

har har har. im sorry my hard earned money at the hospital is being wasted on UT athletics and apparel. shoot me now.

Haha it wasn't an attack on you or anyone else that wants to buy a jersey and do what they want with it. Personally I think it's a cool idea so long as you aren't badgering the player(s) in any way. I just like to stir the pot ha.

Ran into Curt Maggit and Dalton Santos after the game. I recognized Santos and told him we were looking forward to seeing him play here next year. He said he couldn't wait. Dude is absolutely huge. Made Maggit look small.

That's impressive because I saw Maggit walking around campus last week and I thought he looked more like a lineman than an OLB.

“I thoroughly enjoyed myself down there,” Santos told InsideTennessee. “I had a really great time with A.J. (Johnson) and Curt (Maggitt), the two linebackers. Those two guys are hilarious and they are good dudes. They are a great group to surround myself with.”

“It was great, all those fans yelling, it was fabulous,” he said. “It was so loud and energetic the whole game. It was amazing. There were great people everywhere. I really enjoyed that and it was great to feel that experience in the stadium.”

When InsideTennessee asked Santos if he had any last words to give the Tennessee fans his reply:

“I can’t wait to get down there and play my butt off for them to make them happy. I can’t be more ready. Seeing the Vol Walk and seeing those fans out there being so supportive, that is what keeps us players driven, seeing them out there 100,000 strong.”

Saw the guy in section Q Saturday night who was wearing a #78 Santos jersey. Two older ladies were asking him questions about it.

and i met santos. dude was awesome. loved the jersey and has a pic of me with it. he actually wanted it. i told him sign it and turn pro and ill give it to him.

Nice! We were two rows behind you. Seems like a real excitable kid...hopefully transfers to high energy on the field.
