A bigger pic of Santos at the game, he does look like he has some extra weight in his gut. & as you can see his dad standing beside him is a pretty big dude also, the bottom pic is Santos brother Wyatt. Perroni might have a point when talking about Daltons weight, it is a concern for sure especially if he will continue to grow b/c if you look at pics of him this summer to now its obvious he has put on some extra weight.

Who Dalton or his brother?

Whoa! Looks like little brother takes Dalton's place (plus his own) at the supper table when Dalton is not at home.

This whole weight issue is seriously overdone. He needs to be able to play tackle-to-tackle. He doesn't need to be the most limber guy on the field. Plus, once he gets here, this whole thing will be a non-issue.

Not being a negavol but was there anything to Santos decomitting and going to A&M since their in the SEC now? I know it was talked about but I don't follow recruiting nearly as much as I should.

After seeing a video of Santos yesterday I think he could possibly grow some and be a mean DT. Not saying it is going to happen but the potential is there with his size and athleticism! He will be a boss no matter where he plays IMO.

Search. There are only 15 threads and 5000 posts about it.

Just speculation that he squashed. He stated that he is solid to UT. He and O'Brien are planning to room together.

Good to hear. Sorry for being lazy. I did remember O'Brien saying him and Santos are close so I figured it was speculation. :good!:

Santos had 6 carries 98 yards & 5 TD's on offense & had a fumble recovery 98 yards for a TD. Couldnt find how many tackles, his team won 69-28

Tom Lemming; One of the more physical defensive players in the state, he's very athletic with good tools, he will come right at you on every play, and never backs down. He can hit like a ton of bricks, proved to be a good pass defender, is agile enough to effectively drop back into the passing lanes, and uses his strength and instincts to make plays from sideline to sideline. He keeps his pads low and his feet moving, and is known for his bone-jarring tackles.

JMo.... It doesn't sound like the guy thinks he has too much bad weight. From the sound of it he really likes Santos. It will be nice if he pans out and can really cover "sideline to sideline".
