I like it. Hopefully they do like Clemson did with Lane and completely cut ties. Santos is our most important HS kid in this class IMO.

Aggie, if you guys could also end your pursuit of Jacobs and Autry, that would be greeeeaaaaaaaat.

TIA :)

No doubt about it. Dabo doesn't need help on offense though.

When rumors were swirling in January that Bellamy was the RB wavering to UT, I was nervous about his size. I didn't see him do much in AAA game. Anyway, I'm very interested to see how that 5* prospect with the body of Devrin Young turns out.

from what ive heard, A&M has moved on from Santos.

maybe so, but A&M isnt going to be the one to initiate the contact.

Santos already mentioned in his announcement that the A&M coaches said they were going to continue to recruit him and come to his games. What you said pretty much backs that up. I'm not too concerned by it honestly, it's just part of the recruiting game.

ESPN is reporting A&M's contact with the NCAA about joining the SEC. The contact is being "taken seriously."

i have not heard anything about A&M recruiting Autry, but A&M is going full force at Jacobs. He will be in town for the Okie Lite game, which is the same weekend Aziz Sh-ittu will be visiting A&M.

Here's a question for you T-agg. Why is A&M and fans so upset about losing Santos anyway? I mean he is a run stopper for sure, but with all the spread Os in the Medium-not12 he isn't what you guys need anyway. Aggs should be loading up on glorified safetys for LBs.

A&M runs a 3/4, so although our MLB's drop into coverage sometimes, they mostly spy on the QB. Santos would be a beast in either system, more so in the SEC, but he would excel at A&M also.

This is serious or even probable. Maybe if it happens it will be a couple years before the transition. Seems like there would need to be another team to make it even.

if A&M does it by the end of September, which i think they will, then they will play in the SEC in 2012
