Dalton trains at the APEC facility you see on his t shirt above. It's in Tyler, TX. Found this quote on his performance at the training facility.

Dalton Santos (6'3 245) Jr. walked into APEC 3 years ago as a 6'2 195Lb role player at the Jv level. He is now maybe the best LB in the nation. 179 tackles this year. 21 for loss. 405 bench press and a laser 4.68 Forty. Offers from OU, Texas A&M, Mizzou, Texas Tech, and 11 others. Committed to Ok State. 3 Years APEC

Pretty dang fast for 6'3" 245...not sure what Perroni is talking about...and apparently he's the only one who is concerned with this aspect of Santos' game...

Of course...this isn't quite as fast as my grandma...she's 6'3", 250 and runs a 4.5 forty

This information is of no use to me until I know her 400.

He de-committed from Ok St around a month ago and decided to open up his recruitment again. Didn't like the thought of playing in the Big 12.

Need to have UT commit next to his name. When I log on and don't see it there, I panic and think I must have been dreaming yesterday.

"I've got instincts," Santos said. "I never take a play off. When I come, I come full speed, and I'm going to knock your head off. That's just the way I play."

At 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds Santos is a freak of nature that thrives on being in the weight room. "I work out 12 days a week in a 5 day period. That's as hard as I work out."

Santos already has the size to play college football. He is strong, physical, and an in your face type of leader. He's best between the tackles as opposed going sideline to sideline.

You like to see a little violence out of your middle linebackers and if you watch Santos for a couple of minutes, it becomes pretty clear that he's a hard-charging, pain-inflicting striker. At 6-2, 245 pounds, Santos might not be a guy that can play a lot on third downs or against pass-heavy teams, but when it comes to defending the run, he can flat out play a mean brand of football between the hash marks

- Rivals quotes from various articles. I liked his upside before, but it just keeps sounding better and better to me. I, for one, am ready to have another MLB that will bust your a$$, straight up smash mouth football. We've been too small in the middle recently and this is good news!

Regarding your first quote, I told my girlfriend the same thing. She wasn't amused.

I'm glad about the commit from Santos. Kid's an American A-team baller in the middle of the field. LBs are looking good. Vols still need one or two more A-team DTs.

Dalton is a member of the Under Armour All-American list. Will be participating in that game, IIRC. Oh, and another good quote from the ESPN article in June....

"When I'm out on that field I just want to pop somebody right in the mouth," Santos said. "I don't what it is, it's kind of crazy actually, but I just play fast and hard."

A tackling machine and a freak in the weight room, the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Santos isn't afraid to deliver the first blow & and the second -- on the rare occasions it's necessary.

"If you're in my way and I have to run you over to get to the football that's what I'm going to do," Santos said. "I like that mentality. I like meeting someone in the hole full speed and hearing their ears ring. I love contact. That's what I live for."
