To me it honestly seems like he likes UT a little bit more at this point. But the comfort of aTm might win out in the end.

I dunno..i thought this until i read that his family would pack up and move where ever he goes

this kid would be a beast under wilcox and i think he knows that

Wow i didnt see that. Could be good news. Not to mention Knoxville is alot cheaper than living in Texas. Would be great if he came here, then his family decided to move.

That's a pretty general statement and maybe not 100% accurate. Texas is a big ass state and there are plenty of affordable places to live there, too.

Must've never heard of Killeen or San Angelo.

Yes that is something that makes it sound better, but there is a big difference in his dad saying he would do it and actually doing it.

I think Santos favors the Vols slightly, but that slight favoring isn't enough to uproot his whole family and have them move 1,000 miles.

I hope I am wrong on this one!

I don't know about a lot cheaper, maybe on property taxes. Most of the houses are very affordable even around the suburbs of Dallas 150k will get you a decent sized house. especially 30 miles away. I'm pretty sure Van is pretty far east of the big D.

Well compared to Houston and Dallas it is anyway. Guess i should have posted that. My wifes sister lives over there and the property is fairly cheap, but everything else isnt. But the her husband was offered a very similar job as an attorney and was almost 85k more a year. But Atlanta is the same way.Expensive to live in.

Your right I should have rephrased what i said. He was offered alot more money over there for almost the same Job and outside of the property alot of other stuff was more expensive, according to them. They got a humongous house for about 350k, that same house here in Vestavia or Greystone would have been up towards 600k +

Cost of living aside, he should fit in well in East TN. A lot of people I have met in Dallas, ask me if I'm from East TX. Apparently the accents are very similar.

Absolutely. that was really my point they could move to TN and not feel like they are in a foreign land. Im not sure what kind of work his parents do either.
