Dooley and Sirmon had an in home with Santos tonight...

"It went great," Santos said. "It reminds you of why I chose the place. I can't wait to get back up there and it won't be that long. I'm coming up January 13th and it's going to be fun. Otha (Peters), LaDarrell (McNeil) and Danny O'Brien are all going to be coming in and we are excited to get together and form that bond. There is such a comfort level with those guys and the coaches. My heart is with Tennessee."

"You get that vibe with coach Dooley," Santos said. "I have a sense of comfort with him and coach Sirmon. That was the reason coach Sirmon sold me on himself and Tennessee. They are going to put me in a position to be successful. I love the atmosphere and the people. My family and I talk with coach Sirmon all the time. Tonight was more about coach Dooley. Mom asked him a lot of questions. It wasn't all about ball. We talked about his family and his kids. Football will take care of itself when you take care of things off the field. It was a great chance to build a bond with coach Dooley."

"Everyone is going to try and twist your mind and make you second guess yourself," Santos said. "Go with your instincts and trust yourself. These guys are professionals and they are going to try and twist your mind because 17 and 18 year olds change their minds a lot. My gut tells me Tennessee. My heart is with Tennessee."

"Tennessee is going to be on top before you know it," Santos said. "We are going to be making a move. I want to be a part of something special. I want to be the man up there, but I'm team first. I'm going to bust my butt and prove to the entire state that I mean business. I'll put the team on my back if I have too and they are surrounding me with people that think like me."

Maybe he has been talking to McNeil since he mentions him. It sounds like Peters has been talking to everyone.

Sounds good! My favorite recruit in this class. Tennessee has found a leader in Santos, IMO. Got to love his attitude.

This guy sounds like a big time, special recruit. Sounds like he has the mentality it takes to be a leader on and off the field. And he's got the physique to knock somebody on the team upside the head if they get out of line. Might be an Al Wilson type in that regard.

I get chills reading that stuff..I love his work ethic already and he hasn't even stepped on the field.

He's gonna be a monster.

Favorite recruit of this class. This dude is a champion. He's the leader the team needs. He's the guy that won't back down from a fight. Beast.

Plus, this article does a good job clearing up the McNeil doubters.
