Will OV A&M and Arkansas in January, then officially decide on NSD.

Both Texas kids that UT has committed right now really have no business being considered a commitment.

if he is questioning his decision then so be it, we got all american linebackers playing. this move makes no sense on his part.

This is the main problem when recruiting kids that are 15+ hrs away from campus. For most, the distance thing will always be in the back of their mind...makes for a lot of hard work keeping the kids committed.

May mean nothing though and both may end up being Vols on NSD.

I just can't see Santos switching to A&M of all schools considering what they're going through. I think this is one of those things that may blow over pretty soon.

 Will officially decide on NSD?

What's up with these press conferences? Just for ****s and giggles I guess.

Santos will most likely stay a Vol, but these early "commitments" are annoying as hell.

AJ Johnson visited Florida 4 or 5 times last year and nothing happened there. I think his family has already made plans to move to Knoxville and he has stated over and over that he is coming here.

He has no relationship with any of the A&M coaches as it looks like they are retaining no one. His main recruiter there was Nguyen I think and he is already interviewing for a new job I believe.

Hope you're right but he went from gung-ho Vol that's moving with his family to Knoxville in December to "well I'm just going to keep my options open and decide on NSD".

not doubting you completely because you seem to be a solid poster, but when did he say that?

2 weeks ago. Quote from article:

“I’ve been staying in contact with Coach (Randy) Jordan and Coach (Dat) Nguyen a lot over the season,” he said. “They’re coming up this week and anything can happen between now and February 2nd. We’re just seeing how it goes and every time I talk to those guys our friendship gets stronger and stronger. I don’t know really know what’s going to happen. I like both schools very much and it’s going to be a tough decision. It’s rough right now.”

Another:

“You wake up each morning and you don’t really know what you want,” he said. “I’m 17 years old and it’s hard because you don’t really know what the heck you want. You got so many people telling you different things. One morning it’s A&M. One Morning it’s Tennessee. It’s tough because your mind is going so many different directions. Right now, it’s A&M and Tennessee. Hell, I don’t know man.”

Disclaimer: These quotes are from a 247 article on the A&M site. Relax, Rucker, it's only about 1/50th of the article.
