Redmond's situation could change. They want him to come back and run the 40 before they officially offer. he's camping July 18th.

Kimbrow can catch, where is it stated he can't? Dude he's the MVP at every camp and combine for a reason. He doesn't have to shake as much as Young because he's a bit faster. Plus his style of running is better for RB than Young. He plays a lot better downhill than Young. And he eats up yards a lot faster than Young. I really wanted to add him to this class. He's a matchup problem for LBs in the passing game. And running behind a big line like we have would be perfect for him to hide behind.

The question marks around his ability to catch the ball came out of one of the camps he went to. I think one of the Rivals guys mentioned that he looked great except he struggled catching passes that day. My only question is if Kimbrow was half a$$ing at TN's camp and didn't seem to care about his performance in front of UT's coaches, why do we want him again? I think he has a lot of talent, but if he doesn't want to be a Vol, then that's okay too. I wish him the best.

Very trustworthy people have been wrong many times - this is recruiting. I don't think anyone will know the real situation for a while or until after NSD. I know he's trustworthy, but to say neitther BK not Redmond have committables is a huge limb to go out on considering the profile of the respective players.

From what I've noticed over the last couple years is that there are few more trustworthy than LWS on VN.

Larry has been following recruiting for longer than I have been alive. :eek:lol: No offense Larry. :hi: He knows a lot about what goes on at UT. Not trying to stir the pot with you but I think it doesn't get much more credible than LWS on a message board.

So you won't believe it until someone trustworthy like LV says it...but when you're told that they don't get more trustworthy than LWS you suddenly aren't concerned with how trustworthy the source is?

It sounds like you just didn't hear what you wanted to hear so you're looking for reasons to not believe it

Apparently Kimbrow really pissed off the UT Coaches at camp. Laid on hitting dummies in the endzone while others were running drills, Baggett told him to come into his office and he held up his hand to say "hold on" while he was flirting with a couple girls on the sideline. Hello Smash Williams.

A kid just called up 104.5 here in Nashville and said the rumors of the mass commit are true. Said the 5 players committing are Kimbrow, Bowles, Azubike, then a kid from Ensworth and one from what sounded like Mt. Juliet (?). It was tough to understand the kid.

Said Jelks is not one of the ones committing next week. Blaine Bishop (one of the hosts) knew the kid. Worked out with him when Kimbrow was at D1 in Nashville. Clay Travis asked him if they wanted to do it on live air next week. Sounded like they might do it. Said it might have to be Thursday when they announce because they are doing some kind of tourney in Dallas next week?

Recruiting gurus....these pieces sound legit?

EDIT: Other two were Blake Bars and Cory Batey.

A guy who claims to have worked with kimbrow at D1 in Nashville and wen on the visit to Vandy with him and Redmond just calles into 104.5 the zone and said it was for sure that kimbrow, azibuike, and batey were committing to Vandy next week. He is helping set up the press conference. Also said he wasn't sure about jelks and bowles. TIFWIW
