Fortenberry just talked to Kimbrow - said he would pick between UT, Cincy, Vandy, Aub, and Mich St late next week.

Going to be fun on VN whether he picks UT or someone else come next week lol

rooollllllllllerrrrrrrcooooooasterrrrrrrrrrrr. I love recruiting.

When he picks does anyone know if he plans to shut it down?

Juding by the drama in this thread, I fully expect him to be in play until NSD regardless of who he chooses in the short term.

I have a feeling the hype around this is going to rival that of Arnett last year. I'm already nervous boys and girls - kind of sad when you put it in perspective.

Nobody reliable has said anything about Tennessee backing off.

Just random posters on here have been saying it. But like I said they do this with just about every recruit when it becomes apparent he isn't going to choose Tennessee.

I would say the chances of us backing off are about the same as him not picking us. Nobody knows whats going on. He may pick us, we may have backed off. But I do know that based on the way he sounds in that interview I wouldn't be surprised if he does have grade issues. But then again maybe we are all wrong.

If he picks UT, I will be extremely surprised, and there is some major smokescreening going on.

How reliable is the person that originally posted that UT coaches have backed off. Also who is to say that he won't choose UT. He may be playing the game looking for a big splash at his selection ceremony.

Fortenberry from VQ is very reliable along with Hubbs. He didn't say that backed off just that they wouldn't lose sleep over losing him. Those are 2 of the very few I would listen to on any Vol Board. JB and Hyamms are the worst 2 by far.

The majority of these kids are drama queens. He is one that if he chooses anyone but UT, he could possibly switch schools before the end of the year. Alot of kids that do not have a clear cut favorite and no team that he just dreams of playing for that commit this early in the year will decommit and get a chance to go through all of the drama again. If he does choose UT then I think he is more likely to stick to that commitment because we are the instate school.
