Who will Kimbrow choose?

That ain't it.

It means he'll be a Vol tomorrow, or on NSD. We don't care when he announces, because we know he's ours.

No, the previous poster has the correct interpretation. The poster on TOS (about as reliable as there is) is saying that we would not be crying if Kimbrow picked another home. He is a clone of Young so if we were to sign him any benefit to us would be marginal at best. With scholarships as limited as they are, I would be surprised if we strongly pursued the kid.

For that reason, I would rather have Robinson than 2 Kimbrows.

Doesn't Robinson duplicate what we've got in Tom Smith and Imani Cross?

Jovon is faster/quicker than both

BK has always been 4.2's to 4.3's and JR around the 4.4 mark. JR did beat BK head-to-head during the camp in B'ham last month. JR is fast and strong. BK is just fast. Not knocking either guy, but we'll be fine at RB this year and years to come. We may miss on a few, but the staff will get there's and we'll all agree because in the end, the recruits have to WANT to be a VFL.

Yea. Lets pass on a guy with CJ-type speed. Absolutely crazy talk. He's not that small, and he can add the necessary weight.

I could see us passing if we get into a numbers crunch and it's between Kimbrow and another great DL, LB, or WR.

Unless something has changed, Kimbrow is #1 on the board.

Just curious, what makes you so sure? Only ask because some others seem to think differently.

Who thinks differently? Kimbrow is #1 on our board. He has 4.2 40 speed and is instate. He's a game changer that UT desperately needs. I can't fathom why our staff would change their minds on wanting him. Can you?

This is what I was referring to:

I get your point and would hate to lose him just to have him come back and bite us in the a## with another team but we do have huge needs at DL and LB and I do believe we need a couple of great WRs to replace Hunter and Rogers. We may only get 3 years out of those 2.

We'd have to sign a top 3 class this year, loaded with elite DT' & LB's, for there to not be room for Kimbrow, IMO. But if that happens I don't think I'd be too upset.

So I read awhile back we were out.... is that the case?

Some say it will depend if we offer Redmond. I guess they are a package deal.

Scout.com: Will Redmond Profile

Edit: Redmond is now saying Miss St is up in his top which is not one of Kimbrows, so who knows for sure.
I guess if TN offers Redmond then Kimbrow and Redmond will make TN their top school according to the prevailing wisdom on this board.
