I don't see UF actively pursuing Redmond.

I can tell you right now we aren't.

We are set at RB right now. 2013 class is full of kids who want to be Gators.

We could get Adam Lane, Kelvin Taylor and Derrick Henry if we wanted.

Redmond is being recruited by most at DB. UF has many other DB prospects to pursue.

Haha I mean its the truth, he is already 4th on the depth chart, maybe 5th if Doak is ahead of him.

After watching the O&W game, I would say Nance is the 4th string QB, but I seriously doubt Doak and the other guy(can't remeber his name) are ahead of him. The only reason Worley is ahead of him is because of recruiting promises and who the coaches believe has the biggest upside. I don’t believe Nance is a wasted scholarship at all. He has a strong arm and from what I have read is a very smart kid. I doubt he will ever get the chance to show us if he is a waste of a scholarship.

A 4th string QB is pretty much a wasted scholarship. Now I'm not mad that he has one because I'm glad Darick is on the team.

Recruting promises? Are you joking? What did they promise him, 3rd string? A redshirt year? Get real.

I kinda thought the same thing. And if you notice alot of the interviews with the recruits, they are saying the coaches are telling them it wont be easy and that it will be hard for them to see the field. So I don't really see our coaches telling kids if they sign they will be starting day 1. I'm not saying they aren't but I doubt they are/will as much as the last staff.

Just like we had to waste a scholarship on Denarius Moore to get Creer.

Because that situation happens so often.

People will always point to that one time where someone defies the odds. It goes back to the "Chris Johnson was a two-star" argument.

You can argue that Nance is a good source of depth at the QB position, but the kid will never see any meaningful snaps while at UT. Had Da'Rick Rogers not been his close friend, Nance would not be a Volunteer.

i think that if ut wants kimbrow they should tell him they want his commit because he is an instate player,or push him down their want list.not many players his size have ever done much for vols in recent years as a rb,and guys posted nash nance is a waste of a scolership, then there are several other waste.i think that having more than one player 5,8 165 or smaller is a waste because there are not many positions they can play besides returner .sure speed kills but it has to get by or around much bigger players.we have a speedster in dy what do we need another for .

Owww, my eyes.

We would have had Creer regardless of Moore. Some need a history lesson here. Moore was spotted when scouting Creer. Thus his offer.
