I think this is our most important 2012 recruit

Like your enthusiasm...instate, no doubt about it. Overall, not IMO...DT is---E Goldman, M Brown, J Jones, D O'Brien, & J Taylor are the focus as are, N James, J Mann, & J Watkins.

Now 25+ offers for Kimbrow. Is expecting the Fighting Irish to extend an offer very soon. He reiterated that he will be waiting until NSD before he chooses his college.

“They have a lot of tradition at Notre Dame,” Kimbrow said. “They used to win a lot. They’re a great program. When you get an offer from there, it’s unreal.”

I hate the nsd announcements if they have known forever where they are gonna sign... Hopefully it will be one of those formalities and we will know ahead of time

I'd say their both about the same, I mean we don't know how Carson will pan out or if Montori will last much longer.

That's fair. Need across the entire D-line. I'll be interested to see if Maggitt or AJ (especially since the staff likes Propst so much) will grow into a DE. Or if Miller grows into a swing DT/DE like Malik.

Are we the leader or is everyone even at this point?

He'll say everyone is even, but UT is definitely up there for him. He has said before that a lot of his family are UT fans and he thinks it's great to play for the home state school. By no means is this over though...

If a player already has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Notre Dame, USC, Nebraska, and Miami, then wtf is the point of Western Kentucky calling him up to offer him?

Maybe you have a connection to the kid. If he drops your name as a contender as a favor, then it can be good pub for your program.

Seastrunk had a good relationship with Larry Porter from when he was recruiting him at LSU. When Proter took the HC job @ Memphis, Seastrunk used one of his remaining officials to visit Memphis (mostly a courtesy visit). They got a few other kids to at least visit that weekend bc of it.

New Rivals article mentions Kimbrow's appreciation for MSU being the first to offer and he'll always remember that. He visited Starkville with several of his HS teammates for MSU's first Junior Day. Was impressed with what he saw. Weight room, relationship with coaches, etc. It's all formalities.

For the 100th time he reiterates that he will take his sweet time and probably wait till NSD. In no rush at all because he said he really hasn't begun to think about it yet. I really like our chances here in the end, but this was the first article I noticed that he stated he doesn't care to leave far from home. No big deal though. This is what he is looking for in colleges:
"It's just everything," Kimbrow said. "Mostly I'm going to look for leadership, good coaches and whatever I'm going to major in. Being far from home doesn't matter to me. I'll go anywhere it's just that I want to be at a place that fits me the best."
While Kimbrow hasn't started to trim his offer list, he has decided on two potential majors for whatever college he attends. He intends to major in either in zoology or sports management.

Zoology or sports management. Lol.

Really?? HA! Not even close in their similarities...LOL. KB is a terrific athlete but too, I'm afraid he may be a bit of an "I" rather then "we". Could be a problem at some point dn the road regardless of the program he signs w/. IMO

Really...? Just stop.

Plus, you're crazy if you think recruits don't look at these boards. Kimbrow is a great kid. From what I know, he is very far from an "I" type of person.

I haven't really got that from him, but the reality check for most kids would be the SEC weekly grind. In the SEC the benches are loaded with "I" kids in HS that get to make tackles every kick-off in college. That will make you a "we" man quick.
