Who will Kimbrow choose?

You definitely can add muscle weight and still get faster. But not in all cases. Some prospects arrive their freshmen year without having any real prior weight training in high school. Obviously a D1 S&C program completely transforms these prospects' bodies because they have never been put through something quite like that before. I think in many cases all that extra muscle and weight slows them down a little because they aren't used to having the extra weight.

Some high schools already have great programs that properly prepare their athletes for the next level physically, but like I stated earlier not all do. Some athletes can easily make the weight jump and keep their speed, but not all do. I don't really have an answer for why some do and some don't, but I'd guess it has something to do with genetics. Regardless, I would hope Kimbrow doesn't gain the weight and lose the elite speed. That is what happened to Oku.

Devrin Young =/= Brian Kimbrow.

Translation: Devrin Young does not equal Brian Kimbrow.

There. End debate. Back to Brian.

What language(s) have you used that use /= as not equal to? I've never seen that before.

My interpretation is Devrin Young = Devrin Young / Brian Kimbrow, and in that case I must ask the following question. After performing the operation, is Devrin Young > 1, = 1 or < 1? I'll go with < 1.

the best part about his speed is he's doing it against someone with NFL speed and S&C....not running against a clock ...thats the way these kids get their street cred in southfla or chasing after rabbits! lol

If chasing rabbits get the job done then you've got to what you gotta do.

He is fast. Real fast for a HS kid. Wait til he gets in a S&C program he'll be even faster.

Actually, it could slow him down.

You're both right. It's all about the "twitch", in KB's case, the fast twitch. CRM's task...focus on increased stamina and strength to KB's slow twitch muscles while improving conditioning of the fast twitch muscles.

I think it will be hard to pick him away from Dooley. Same goes for Bowles and Cole.

Given our scholly numbers, I'd rather have Bowles and Kimbrow over giving one of those guys up for Cole.
