Why the hell is Devrin Young in almost every thread? Who gives a f*** about any comparisons now? He's offered/committed and doesn't anything else matter. I don't particular care for DY but it doesn't matter now. This is Kimbrow's thread leave it at that.

"I'd like to go to a school that's been winning," Kimbrow said. "I want to have a lot of competition and be pushed to earn playing time. I don't want to hear I'll play right away because I want to work for everything I get."
Although Tuscaloosa has been his lone school visit so far away from the Memphis area, Kimbrow would like to see other interested schools.
"Right now lack of transportation is getting the better of me," Kimbrow stated. "I'd like to major in something where you have to travel a lot because I enjoy getting out there and seeing new places."
I get it that everyone is tired of the DY references in almost every thread. I really do not think that DY and Kimbrow are that comparable other than they are both smaller, really fast football players.
I see Kimbrow ending up about 5'9-5'10 and about 185-190. He lays on a sub .500 team, but he did end up with about 1500 yds against some pretty good teams. You give him a line and he is well over 2K. His speed is as good as it gets. The film does not do it justice, IMO. I think he is more of the Chris Johnson style (notice I said style and not that he was the next CJ) runner.
I think this would be a good get for us next year. The competition is going to heat up for him. There is probably going to be another Memphis RB from the same class that is going to be up there as well. Jaylen Walton 5'8 150 running back with 4.44 speed. He IMO, is more like DY than Kimbrow is.
One of the verbal scholarships he's already received is from Tennessee and Charlie Baggett dropped by East a few weeks ago to check in on him.
"Coach Baggett came by about two weeks ago. I didn't get to talk to him really," Kimbrow said, referring to the unofficial 'Bump' rule.
