Kind of off subject, but does anyone recollect a tight end from the state of Virginia in the 2012 class that almost committed to UT a while back? I want to say LV put up a video of him bc I can distinctly remember the reporter for one reason or another. Just can't remember the player's name.

rumor has it that UK is on the verge of offering Memphis East standout Robert Fields.....who plays WR.....if that happens..according to my source...expect 2012 propsect and #1 player in the state Brian Kimbrow to also look at UK hard. As this person put it....there is a 99% chance that Kimbrow will sign with UK as him and Fields are like brothers

24/7sports has come out with their list of top 2012 prospects, Kimbrow came in at 111th in the nation & 13th best RB in the nation. They have him as the 2nd best player in the state of TN for 2012.

Any time I hear of a HS kid running in the 4.2 range, I don't buy into it. I don't care if they say it was ET. I refuse to believe some HS kid is going hang with Chris Johnson in the forty.

he's fast but I'm doubting the 4.28.... Kid is a North and South RB though. Doesn't look like he's doing much if any dancing in the hole.

I agree. Idk if it's the film or what but it didn't look 4.2 or 4.3 speed to me either. Actually his speed didn't impress me at all the last time I watched his vid. Now I'm sure he's a player and does have speed and I'm hoping we get him in the next class, I really do hope we get him, but I wasn't overly impressed with his speed in the film either.

Not saying I won't want this kid to come to UT because I do, but I don't understand how Devrin Young isn't more highly regarded than Kimbrow. Young's highlights are way more impressive than Kimbrow's. Kimbrow may have had better camps than Young, but I am pretty sure that Youngs football speed is just as good if not better than Kimbrows. I have also seen Young play in person and he looks pretty impressive to me.
