'12 SC WR Quinshad Davis

I wasn't sure about grades if you had read. He does go to gaffney. The rest means you know less than me.

Believe what you want. You shouldn't have implied someone's academics were questionable without knowing. :)

I believe any school would be fortunate to get him.

Yeah I would be more than happy to have Quinshad. Nice find on the 3.4 Gpa. Like I said a lot of assumptions were made in the original post.

This is why this board is full of fools. Nobody said his grades were bad. I had heard his grades may be suspect. Nowhere did I say they were. Maybe it was misinformation or an sat score or something else. I do know how his behavior was at the state game & what it resulted in. I do see how schools that you would think would show more interest are not.

Grades are suspect equals grades are good then. Then you call someone a fool. Keyboard power. I did not call you a name but you call people fools. Anyone who does not agree with you gets called a name. This shows you have a weak argument. If you do not agree with me, then you are a .....you are a ........idiot or a fool. I think you are a pompass.............look at the last three letters.

SC now has a spot open for him with McCord going to Miami.

SC needs to recruit a good QB and hire a good coach to follow up The Ole Ball Coach. He's still mind ****ing them.

A good QB and a good coach that can build on what you guys have become would make them scary.

I have hope that he has finally found a quarterback with a fully functional brain in Connor Shaw.

You make great points. The period after Spurrier retires will be the most critical period in the history of the program, simply because the hire will determine if we continue to push in the righy direction or if we fall back to suckitude.

I said I had heard his grades were suspect not that they were. Fools take that & make it what they want. I didn't say you had to agree with me & made it clear what was fact & what was hearsay. Either some people enjoy trolling or can't comprehend anything they read. I don't give a "French seal" about your opinion of me & you can kiss my ass. Notice the last 3 letters of ass.

Connor Shaw will be a good one. I don't know if you remember but I said before the season started that I would not be surprised if Shaw took the job away from Garcia. Obviously Garcia screwed himself but Shaw was going to take the QB job from him.

I saw Shaw play plenty of HS football and I really like him. The kid is a competitor, a hard worker, and has what it takes to lead your team.

Wake Forest wants him because his grades are bad. He can get in WF but not anywhere else.

I have some knowledge of WF and their admission policy for athletes. It is my understanding that the football team has a small number of exceptions that the school will allow admittance for if they are NCAA qualifiers even if they don't meet the schools standards. With that being said WF CAN take a few marginal grades kids. That could be the case here.

You were right. It sucks that Garcia couldn't play more like he did in 2010, but it worked out I guess.

I forgot about that. I think the article that was quoted in this thread actually said he had a 4.2 GPA and was an honors student. That is what started all the WF education talk in this thread.

Lol it was 3.41 but it's great how it went to a 4.0 & then a 4.2

Quote from Q davis:

"Academics are important to me. I'm a real academic guy. I have a 4.1 GPA in honors classes."

Sorry I thought it was a 4.2. I was terribly wrong and am VERY sorry for stating something that wasn't true! Lol

Grades don't reflect on ACT scores. 4.0 for me, 28 on ACT. 4.2 classmate, 24 ACT, 3.9 classmate, 15 ACT.

Correct but the higher GPA the lower test score to qualify. Sliding scale.

Another thing to consider is he is taking honors classes. If your example of a 3.9 GPA/15ACT is a kid that also takes honors classes your teachers at your school should be fired.

Something tells me CC is going to take a break from this thread for a while. I hope not. I enjoyed proving him wrong!

Take a break? Why? Because there are conflicting reports on his GPA? Who really cares I stated from the start I wasn't sure of his grades but the rest there is no doubt.
