'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

He wont be taking an OV to TN, he stated he was taking them to far off places he had never visited. He's stated he would probably visit Texas and USC, but that he would not be back to visit TN
Will probably start for multiple teams next year, including a couple NFL squads. I mean, dude's a 5 star.

We'll just have to see what happens on the OV front. I'm tired of arguing with you, dellcomputer. You already know everything b/c you read it on gator country.

No doubt CHH will continue to work him. Depending on how the season goes for both UF and UT, he could still change his mind. Not holding my breath, but it ain't over yet.

By the way he talked about Florida, it seemed like he was interested in helping them "rebuild" down there. Seems like if we go down to the swamp this year and beat them, it will only make him want to help them more. JMO

I think you missed the part where it was stated that he wouldn't start here, so why would we think its such a big deal? You got him congrats, but everything you say gives off a negative vibe towards Tennessee. Not only am I tired of hearing about Humphries, im tired of you nuthugging him too. He's not big enough to play on our line, therefore, not being that big of a loss.

Tell him to ask Michael Taylor what it's like carrying the water bucket when he sees him.

he's an EE i bet he can get up to 290ish and play his first yr thats only about 25lbs in 8 months

i think our coaches prefer to get em lean then too fat

If your last sentence is true, then he might see the field sometime in the near future. Especially since he is an E.E. Just a guess. I know absolutely nothing about the team you follow.

Just wanted to show you what DJ said in his interview about Mo Collins, since people have been bashing him...

However, Humphries said his relationship with Collins has often been misunderstood.

"Everybody thinks he pushed Florida on me," he said. "That wasn't the case at all. He was kind of in a spot where it was uncomfortable for him to talk to me about Florida. He said he was not going to push me in any direction. Whenever we talked about Florida, it was because I asked him about the town or the school or something."

kid taking a redshirt to gain weight and learn is "carrying the water bucket"? FYI he's #2 on the depth chart.
When asked about players standing out Muschmap said" Mike stood out to him as a “tough, physical kid” who “understands a little more what we’re asking of him.”

If you don't think Mo Collins has anything to do with his choice, you're delusional.

Then obviously he's just lying to everyone...Whatever helps you sleep better at night, I just posted his direct quote

OK. And why would he tell the media that someone very close to him talks to him about UF?

One of our most reliable posters (with connections to the coaching staff), who knows Mr. Collins, said himself that DJ was being worked by Mr. Collins.

Recruits lying? For UT fans, just within the last year recruits like Gabe Wright and Lamar Dawson come to mind. You are really delusional if you don't think recruits lie occassionally.

But whatever helps you sleep at night.

What did you expect him to say? Not like he is gonna call out his trainer.

What if this were the quote?

"Everybody thinks he pushed Florida on me," he said. "That was definitely how it went down. I thought he was kind of in a spot where it was uncomfortable for him to talk to me about Florida. But he did it anyway. He said he was going to push me to Florida no matter what. Whenever we talked about Florida, it was because he brought it up."

Would have loved to have had him. He was rated number 3 in the nation and a 5 star and I hate that we finished second. But for a team that finished with a losing record last year to be in contention for such high profile players, tells me something. If we show improvement this year DD will start to win these battles.

99% plus players in college football are "tough, physical kids" for cryin' out loud.

The guy blabbed how he was going to be there for the Univ of Tennessee because they were the first ones to show him respect and as soon as a couple of other schools started flexing their butt cheeks he wilted.

De-committing is one thing but don't go pulling that honor, reward, loyalty b.s. unless you're big enough to back it up.

Don't flippin' dare start the "just a kid" stuff. If you're old enough to go to war and kill or old enough to go to jail for life then you're old enough (obviously not man enough) to honor your mouth.

He is a non factor.

What I love is that you bash a kid for decommiting from TN and going to Florida. Were you on these boards when Nukeese and Teague switched?? These boards were praising his decision, and calling it the greatest coup ever...I guess turn about, is not fair play
