It is kinda a coincidence that the coaches are positive on the recruiting front the same day that details of Santos' announcement comes out....

Yeah, that's how I approach every day when I come to work, low expectations are easier to attain. Maybe I do need to do that in regards to recruiting as well.

I would not make up my mind on Santos or D.J. Until they say it cause you never know it could be one of those pick up a hat put it on take it off and put on a Ut one so don't get down yet!!!!

I think we as a fanbase have become to accustom to being burned. Hopefully the winds will change soon and we'll have more positive results. That said, this recruiting season looks like it could be one wild rollercoaster ride. My heart's already beating fast and it's still 6 months til NSD.

OCI said the coaches were positive in general and he thought it was about DJ, SpringBok straight up said good vibes about DJ.

Hopefully they both got good positive info and just misinterpreted, but I'm not feeling too sanguine at the moment.

One other thing, you might want to avoid this thread tomorrow because it'll likely be overrun with lizzards come to rub it in. There's already one here, Jerrid05, tryin start sh#t he cant even wait for the announcement. Noticed he and a few dozen other trolls started new memberships today in anticipation of trollfest'11. Best to just ignore em. Waco, maybe HG and a few others will likely show some class, the rest will be batsh#t crazy by 7:01 if not before.

Dont worry this clas will be fine no matter what the critics say. All we REALLY need is a few studs for the front 7. The rest is gravy. Nite fellas

If the rumblings are true, perhaps they were just staying positive in the face of adversity. Dooley doesn't strike me as the type to wallow in self-pity. He also doesn't strike me as the type to get angry at a kid for picking another school, as long as the kid was upfront with him. I think his most likely response would be to move on to the next kid on the board. But I don't know him personally, so I can't really say. He just presents himself as a class guy, which is what I like about him. I just hope he can parlay that into success.

Trying not to give into the panic myself. It's getting scary. If tomorrow goes bad, I might have to skip the recruiting forum for a month or so. Not sure my heart can take it this year, lol.
