It could; but a Vol poster asked a pertinent question, and I figured I'd answer it to the best of my ability while I was here. Doubt it would get asked on a UF board; they already know the answer to the question.

I'm not trying to do any flaming; just responding to valid questions.

Ah, there's the rub...FSU is dominating UF for the past few years. It's tough being #2 in your own state. But, I guess it makes the Gator faithful feel better if they can criticize other schools, even though the 2012 recruiting game is still in the first quarter.

The dominance of Florida occurred cyclically for the most part while UM and FSU was down. Tennessee benefits from ACC schools taking talented players from our rivals.

Foley has had a football program washed in the blood of Tebow that makes people forget the stalking and theft of a dead girls.credit card and eye gouging and ak 47s. Straight thugs made up lots of the UF roster.

The directors cup bull is for Stanford and Vanderbilt. There are two.sports that matter and UF has been extremely successful in both. They are still a johnny come lately program with massive natural advantages and an arrogant and large bandwagon jorts wearing fanbase.

We cannot say much to you until we beat you. Some of my best memories as a Vol fan are 2005 and the best by far was collins cooper wide right. As the other Florida schools rise it will hurt UF and a struggling season will hurt 13 recruiting.

florida state finished in the top 5 every season from 1987 through 2000.

during that period (you know, when florida state was down), florida won 6 SEC titles and finshed 1st in the SEC once.

florida also won the national title by beating florida state (who was down at the time) in the sugar bowl.

in the 90's, miami won a national title and played for another. florida state won 2 national titles and played for 2 others. but, while both of those programs were down, florida took advantage and won 1 national title and played for another.

in 1983, miami lost to florida and won the national title
in 1989, miami lost to florida state and won the national title.
in 1996, florida lost to florida state and won the national title.

not to mention all the other seasons, where a florida school's only loss was to another florida school, which kept them from winning the national title.

so, what i'm saying is, all three schools simply are incapable of being nationally relevant at the same time unless having 3 of the 4 winningest programs since 1980 would suggest otherwise.

Don't you think the opinions on this Board are representative of the fan base as a whole...certain % is negative, a certain % is always positive, etc? It may be a small sampling but I'm betting it's certainly an accurate indication of the pulse and tenor of the fans, collectively speaking.

Which teammates? DJ won't tell anyone the truth until tomorrow at 7. He could also try and use behaviors that will make people think he is leaning one way while really leaning the other. Wait and see..
