'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

I can believe it....it sure is hard to attract top tier players to UT when we haven't been more than middle of the road in the SEC

I wouldn't believe that he is a silent. I was told a few days ago that it is still between Florida and Tenn. Also, DJ is going to take his official visits then decide.

With HG not sold on him being a silent then I would stay it's still 50/50.

LWS is usually a little on the pessimistic side, but his info is solid. So I guess take from that what you will. But if we're still in it, we have a lot of work to do.

You are priceless ! I spoke to a trusted UT guy and its a done deal to Tennessee.Guess that he will just have to split down the middle...half to UT and half to Fl:good!:

That's the same guy who told me about Marlin Lane to UT days before it was announced.

Sure things can change but the UF guy posts on a UGA board and has an excellent track record with his info. It might be "HialeahGator" with a different name, I'm still trying to figure it out.

Your trusted guy heard about Marlin Lane 7 days from Signing Day, not 7 months as it is now with Humphries. I know Dooley and Hiestand feel very good with where they stand with DJ, so it is too early to throw out phrases like "done deal".

To be fair, most of us realized Marlin Lane was coming here before he actually announced, but I agree Humphries is leaning toward UF atm

As Rocky once said it ain't over till it's over I don't care what people say about D.J. leaning towards UF, it won't be over until it's actually over. I'm still fairly confident the UT will land him.

Florida's angle with DJ is through his HS Head Coach. He coached in Florida before Mallard Creek and that is where the reports are coming from. Tennessee has a better "in" with the parents. The longer the goes out, the more the HS coach will be diminished in this process. We want the decision to be made in the living room.

He is to visit Gainesville 10/1 and Tennessee is looking for a visit after Florida, possibly the SC game on 10/29.

Mo Collins is the BIG in for UF.
