High hopes that he would push for serious PT.

Neal and Lane should be taking all the meaningful snaps. I didn't see anyone beyond random VN posters who thought he had a chance at starting or even being top 3 this year, but I could be wrong.

Young could end up seeing more snaps than one of those two.

This reminds me of a certain safety we had from Louisiana. I wish the guy well and hope it all works out for him. It's a shame though, he was probably going to be our everydown back in two years.

I don't think his situation is as bad at that one.

I had a feeling this one was going to be trouble, hopefully he gets his stuff straight. Did he leave school or just didn't show up for practice?

School has yet to start. hope he gets back after getting some good advice.

Thanks Tim, yeah I see the other thread now. Hmm, well really too bad, not too late for the kid but the ship is starting to sail.
Too many kids let their ships sail only to wake up one day and realize they're 30 years old and thei heyday has slipped by.

damn. good luck getting him back

i know yall dying for a good rb to commit this yr too

maybe he should of stayed in la if he gettin homesick already

I look at this as a positive. An open RB spot is a serious recruiting point to give to an elite RB prospect. It also opens up a scholly for the 2013 class.
We should have seen it coming because he committed and decommitted 3 times. It shows he was unsure of where he wanted to be. He wasn't going to play either.

Possibly losing our best RB commit from last year's class is a positive? Because it opens up a spot? Ok.

Just because he may not have played in 2012, which most freshman shouldn't and won't, doesn't mean he was a wasted scholarship. The kid is a great athlete. I personally hope he gets his stuff squared away and gets back on the Hill. His situation is what the family atmosphere everyone speaks about is all about.

Obviously its not a desirable situation, but IF he does leave there is a positive side to the negative situation. I hope he comes back as well.
Try thinking more logically to an entire situation.

sounds like you guys want a coach that is mistake free. It's not going to happen. With any coach.

At least he seems to address issues. That's all you can do when mistakes are made. You can't undo them.

You're right. UT is where coaches come to make all their early career mistakes. We should not expect too much all at once!

every coach on every college and pro team makes mistakes on a weekly basis. If you don't understand the reality of it, it's your problem.
And coaches make late career mistakes as well. Ask PF, Paterno, Bowden and many more.

As for the quoted above, I didn't say that. Try another route.
