What stories are you talking about? Him being hooked on that cough syrup stuff? I'm guessing that's not all, huh?

Along those lines. Imagine what you would do if you were immature, spoiled, and bored and moved back to your little hometown with all your idiot friends.

Then imagine you have tens of millions of dollars to play with.

There is a whole write-up about it in Sports Illustrated, I believe. It kind of documents his life after he moved back home. He basically has nothing to do, hangs out at a barber shop, and he drives different cars to the barber everyday. Dude will be living comfortably for a while after his outrageous rookie contract.

Geez, he's got it rough. Must be hard on him

We are the only school he mentions as recruiting him. If he decides he doesn't want to go to LSU, you have to like our chances.

Article kind of makes it sound like his dad is encouraging him to stick with LSU but Davante isn't sure.

Perhaps LSU-SIU could shed some light on that.

We as in Tennessee, or the barn. Never can tell with you, and I'm not trying to be mean

Honestly, I want this guy just because LSU does. Their RB stable is all I need to see.

Sad, but true. Just to think that it wasn't that long ago that we were the standard bearer in the conference (and the nation even, maybe with the exception of USC) at the running back position. Oh well! Hopefully we'll get back that way soon. So does anybody know if Bourque is coming in on the 13th?

Not for sure yet but if he has legit interest, he'll probably be here.

I wonder if LSU will pull their offer if he decides to take a visit here? I know some other schools have done that in the past. It will be interesting to see how things play out.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but are we recruiting him as a RB? 6'3" seems kind of tall for a RB....
