IMO he'll be one of our biggest recruits come 2013 if we land him. I am kind of betting one of either justin hunter or darick rogers going pro after this season. Patterson could be great as the other outside threat.

All he is is Finebaum junior, and he has made a lot of money doing exactly what he does in the state of AL. If people hate him so much, they should do the only that that will make a difference. Don't listen to his crappy Nashville radio show and do NOT visit his website. He's a hack. but he is laughing all the way to the bank because of how stupid people who hate him, that listen to him, are.

yeah thats the funniest part of it. if you dont like him dont support him by tuning in. its like when all the crazy bible thumpers went out and bought and burned the harry potter books to protest the author. doesnt make sense. how are you punishing them by putting money in their pockets?

Blasphemy. I am a Christian and I love Harry Potter. Let’s not stereotype there big guy.

I was talking about Patterson kind sir.

Get confident EG. TB had his sophomore slump. On the upside that everybody stays healthy - there is no way that TB does not have a great season. We already know that the O-line can pass block. With what the coaches learned last year about our run game, you can bet your last dollar that that area of the game will improve dramatically. We all know that TB can throw the ball. The biggest question of them all - with the talented receivers we have - and whats coming in - is whom to throw it to. TB just needs to knuckle up and realize his full potential. I think he's smart enough to realize that with the talent surrounding him he has the potential to be a Heisman candidate.

im only stereotyping crazy bible thumpers lol. they are not normal christians. if you think a popular childrens novel will prompt kids to worship the devil then yes you are on that list, if not, you're good lol.

Haven't checked this thread since it seemed we were def out of it a couple weeks ago but it keeps hanging around.

Anything change?

We still likely out or do we have a shot? Skeeter?

Look one page back, skeeter said his meeting with hinshaw went very well and the staff feels like they are back in it

Skeeter just posted a bit ago that his meeting with Coach Hinshaw went really well and the coaches feel good about this one again. (paraphrasing of course)

I noticed on TOS that Joseph was going to meet with his mother in Rock Hill. That may not be out of the ordinary, but the staff is obviously putting on the full-court press for Patterson. I feel as if Patterson makes us a lot more dynamic as an offense. If we closed out with Mike Davis, Cord Patterson, Deion Bonner, and one or two more, who could complain about this recruiting class?

What I posted earlier. We're out. That was before these in-homes though.
I think Trooper and Lupas are probably selling CP on the idea that Dooley is done after this season. Problem with that line of reasoning is that you have a dangerous offense and a much more talented/deeper defense. Ain't happening.

Davis = cock

Patterson can go to Aubbie in a new system with no QB.

If he goes to Georgia it's not like he's a whole lot better than Malcolm Mitchell( the No.1 no doubt next year for Georgia) who's on Rogers and Hunter level athletic wise. Conley showed some ability too as a freshman. Then you have King and Wooten with Brown. They're actually deeper than us. We're just top heavy.

Or he can come here and get single coverage week in and week out. Rogers will beat any CB in this league with Claiborne being gone(he dominated Rogers when he was on him). So there will be extra attention paid to Rogers. Then if Hunter is back full strength Patterson would see zero coverage all game. Because the other two are proven SEC quality WRs. Patterson has proven nothing. I would come to UT or Baylor if I were Patterson.

If we get Patterson then we will be able to redshirt Bowles, Crooms, Howard and Q.Davis that would be huge ,then if we do lose a reciever to NFL early,we'll still be strong for the years to come ,man we'd be awesome.

How deep do you think we are at WR?

Returning WRs: Rogers, Hunter(off injury), Dallas, Z.Rogers(Sun Drop), and who else???? They'll all have a shot a playing time. I think Croom and Bowles will be first out wide and Bowles getting a look in the slot while Howard will battle for a lot of time his first year(slot,PR,KR, some wildcat). Q.Davis could use a redshirt year the most out of the four if we pick him up.

Dallas should come on strong this year ,but yea im sure the first year guys will see the field, but they have the option to redshirt a couple ,I was just sayin that we'll actually have some depth for the years to come, but yea we got playmakers comin in and u gotta use them, gives us alot of options tho

I do like Dooley's way of redshirting, or not for lack of a better term. IMO, it's better to wait and see who develops, and of course injuries can change any plan, so it's best not to have someone on the shelf.

Yep I agree, do u think V.Dallas should be good for us this year

He is seldom the victim of a blitz because he tends to just wing it out there with the hope of a receiver making a play for him. That is a long way from reading a blitz and finding a receiver in the weak spot.
.

Sorry. But no. You can deny all you want but Bray does really well in the passing O. And no, he doesn't just "wing it". He can "see" coverages and read blitzes. Somehow that doesn't translate to reading run defenses.

I honestly think that's why the loss of Hunter was such a huge deal. Chaney/Dooley had put the season on a pass to set up the run strategy because that's what they did well. They likely felt that Bray could continue to develop as a manager of the whole O under the cover of his great strength in the passing game.

I posted in more than one thread after signing day that I thought Dallas would be better than Arnett. I also thought he should've been given more plays to get him the ball. But I'm not the coaches. I feel he'll step up this year. Dallas is a very good athlete.
