CDD seems to be the type of coach that no matter what happens will stay and see it through and I think UT hired based on that.

My point was under CPF we were not in any NCAA trouble. He started losing and was sent packing. He dedicated his life to Tennessee...I think CDD would have alot less rope in which to hang himself. JMO

+1. One thing Dooley brings to the table is stability. But if he doesn't start winning soon, someone needs to show him the door out. And hopefully the cheapskates that run UT would have learned a lesson that if you want to win and win big in the SEC, you have got to dish out the $'s to lure a big time coach, one that recruits and coaches like a maniac.

Winning soon? The season hasn't even started yet.

What are you people smoking? He has had one season. One. He fared pretty well if you ask me. Let the man coach a little before you start calling for his head.

Seems lots of people forget CDD had us about 3 seconds away from being 8-5 last year with what was probably the least talented and deep starting 22 lineup since probably the seventies. I think we will be fine with CDD for years to come. Just my opinion though.

The recruiting forum is now the football forum - constant whining and complaining. Bunch of little girls. The crow eating list is getting pretty long, going to need a truck load on nsd...

We were 6-2 in games we won last year. Somehow people view that as a good thing.

The staff is still accountable for those loses. Not having the right number of players in at LSU, Chaney not being more aggressive during our last drive in the MCB. People need to realize they can't pin all the blame on the depleted roster and that the coaches bare some responsibility. Likewise on the recruiting trail.

Dooley did well with what we had last year. He did fare pretty well, whether you like it or now. Regardless, he has coached in one full season and has had only one full recruiting class... Yet, you guys are ready to write him off. Where you guys ready to send Kiffin packing after his first season? As I recall, Kiffin wasn't even trying to win some of those games. He was just trying to keep it as close as possible.

The only problem is that on they'll still be complaining and moaning if we get a top 10-15 class. Some people are never happy with anything.

Keeping it close with lsu then ****ing it up at the end isnt faring well.

I like dooley but be realistic. Who exactly did we beat to constitute a good season?

Anyone who tries to pretend that last years roster wasn't attrotious, that reaching a bowl game with that roster wasn't a major accomplishment and that we weren't robbed of 2 other victories is being willfully ignorant...that's all...and there's no point in arguing with someone who chooses to be that way...nothing any of us say will cause them to decide to not be that way
