I really dont see a need for more than 3 WRs.

Sounds like Dooley thinks its a position of dire need. along with DL and RB.. truthfully we have 6 schooly Wr's, we need atleast 4 and 5 could be ideal if they are the best 5 on our board. Definately can see atleast 3 but really 4 would be what we need.Very possibly 2 JUCO guys along with Croom and Bowles. Definately a position of need.

+1. 2012 and 2013 aren't going to be nearly as pretty as people think if the talent in the front 7 doesn't improve quite a bit with this recruiting class.

We'll be similar to Arkansas. Loaded on offense with a scrappy but undersized defense. Thing is I don't think our Wrs drop as many balls even though we haven't seen that much out of them. We do need to get these juco players in though. Heavy juco will allow Carson and Saulsberry a chance to develop at DT. Corey Miller is someone I want back out at end but I've got a feeling Jordan Williams and Maggitt will lock that down.

How's Maggitt going to lock down DE when he's playing LB?

Who cares, HE'S IN THE FRONT 7. WE NEED MORE LIKE HIM :)

It is definitely true that he will play in the front 7....but I think it's very important that people realize how big our need is in the front 7....if our coaches don't make it a priority in this class then we'll never seriously compete for championships...I can't emphasize the need for front 7 players enough

Damien Jacobs the DT that signed with FSU out of high school. FSU isn't going to go after him and Tennessee has apparently offered, so you'd think they have at least a decent chance with him.

nice. I expect us to take a JuCo DE and DT in this class.

Trust me, it has been emphasize and emphasize and emphasized and emphasized and emphasized. I believe that the coaches have a better understanding of the need in our D-Line than any of us.

Last time I checked there were two end spots. I was talking about the rotation opposite of Jac Smith.

What about Marlon Walls? Anybody heard anything about how he's looked so far?

I was hoping he'd show up strong as a flex DE/DT this season.

Marlon has dropped down about 15-20 pounds and will play at the DE spot. They like his play better from that position. He and Miller are both natural ends IMO and have been forced to play out of position due to a lack of DT talent. I'm hoping that will change through recruiting well in the JUCO ranks for the DT position.

No doubt the front 7 is a huge piority to them. The question is can they land the talent needed there to be able to legitimately compete for championships over the next several years? They are going to have to be able to.
