It's pretty apparent to anyone with eyes or ears he can't coach. Keeping him for stability and recruiting to bridge to the next guy makes sense. But if he's gonna get crushed on the recruiting trail with "don't go to TN, they lost to KY and he's getting fired soon" and that tactic work (I'm not saying it is or should, but respectable posters are alluding to that being the case) then what purpose does he serve?
PS - I'm loving the stability in the program..

Sentimore hasn't said anything to anyone. But remember his dad said some positive things about A&M. However, we were led to believe that his dad wasn't involved with the decision.

So we will see. I'm not ready to say Tennessee is not going to get Sentimore because it has appeared to be all Tennessee for a while.

No. Like I tried to convince some of the folks railing on Dooley and calling for him to be fired now... BE POSITIVE. The next guy will need the players. Even if DD is destined to fail.... you don't help the program by harping on it in public and giving opposing recruiters ammo.

The question has nothing to do with Dooley himself. It has to do with saying and doing things that are good for the program.

I remember when Fulmer could no longer recruit those last few years, and he kept saying that the recruits were lying to him about coming to UT and then signing with someone else at the last minute. Looks like history is repeating itself as it often does.
