This just wouldn't make sense...

If I'm not mistaken, TideWarrior said he was set to be their best DL this year...then abruptly he and Saban decide to part ways...now he's being pushed back to Bama?

I just can't bring myself to believe that...not with Nick Saban as the coach involved

I thought I read he was Sabanized because of rotten grades messing with the team GPA whazzits. TW said that Sentimore was supposed to be heavy in the rotation this year, but, you know, grades.

This could be a case of musical chairs since Alabama's out (apparently) of the Goldman sweepstakes.

Why would he leave Alabama and go to JUCO only to go back to Alabama? That makes absolutely no sense at all.

Live with it? Hell I could "live with it" like I could "live with" only winning $10,000 in the lottery. What a disappointment.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but coming out of HS Sentimore was a 4*, 13 best DT & 126th best player in the nation.

That was before the latest turn of events. Jacobs and Autry will both be Vols, Jacobs is recruiting Sentimore to Tennessee too. We need an SEC ready D-line, landing these 3 will put us there. Sentimore will join them.

Slow down "bros." I'm aware of who these guys are and our need of an SEC Dline but thanks for the lecture. Just stating that maybe what OCI posts shouldn't quite be taken as biblical.

I totally agree with what you are saying. Just posting the latest info in a fluid situation. :hi:

The information is only as good as the mouth from which it comes. And there are a lot of mouths (and fingers, in VN's case).

Its as "Biblical" as it can get for recruiting. Even if DD himself were on here telling us recruiting info, things would still change and recruits would lie. This is not ammo to say he is unreliable, its just the nature of the beast.

I go along with this line of thinking.

However, OCI merely echoed TW's opinion on the situation. I value TW opinion far more because his posts aren't sweeping generalizations or made after the fact. Not to doubt OCI, but I'm far from assigning value to his posts just yet.

OCI is very reliable. He will miss here and there since it's recruiting but he's as reliable as any poster we have. He really didn't have to echo TW's opinion. That info has been out for a week or so on TOS. It was just confirmed over here. OCI also let us in on how Sentimore's visit went while others were saying the kid is just a bad apple.
