'12 JUCO DB Otis Jacobs (A&M signee)

I suppose I should just put it in my signature. Mom and 20 family members are vols. Dad and Cousin are dawgs. Raised on SEC football.

Went to a&m so...

i'm off the dooley wagon...

why would you let a scrub like this commit early anyway
i am sick of toilet dool

Maybe he flipped to A&M because he found out A&M are getting a bigtime defensive coordinator. Just a hunch.

Not surprising, really. He flipped because the coach he liked got fired, then flipped back after they made a solid hire. Sumlin obviously addressed Jacobs' issues and convinced him that his first choice was the right one. Part of our problem has been that we've had a lot of players who weren't really bought in here and have been quick to bail. We need players who want to be here and are willing to make a commitment they'll honor. And if they don't, it's a spot better saved for someone who does. JMO.

Well I would not be surprised if he did again. My aggies still have to pick a defensive coordinator. Based on what Sumlin said the other day, it will all be sorted by jan 4th or so.

i don't remember alot of people really getting excited about O Jacobs coming here anyway? is this really such a big deal losing him???

I just saw on 247 that Otis didn't even bother to tell Tennessee coaches that he had changed his mind. He siad he told his mom at 1am what he was going to do, called A&M this morning, but didn't talk to Tennessee... our coaches eventually called his mom and got the news that way

our coaches talked to someone at 8:30 this morning and found out he switched back. I had assumed it was otis, apparently it was someone in the family. Our coaches knew about this between 8:30 and 9:00am. They were trying to reach otis early morning and when they finally got someone i just assumed it was him. Thats all i know, its not like otis lied to the coches the way autry did. I wish Otis well, Autry not so much.
