'12 JUCO DB Otis Jacobs (A&M signee)

Honestly, that excuse sounds like a cop-out to me. He was afraid of competiton with our CB's? The University of Tennessee cornerbacks? Lol, please.

Not so much that he was afraid, but A&M pretty much loses their entire secondary. It is pretty much a guarantee he will start.

I remember so many fans loved Kiffhole's scam on Urbie with Nu"Keese. I never understood why people thought that was so great--and this is the reason I thought it sucked.

Thanks. I didn't know that info. about A&M's DB situation. However, given the knowledge of our DBs, I'd feel safe saying it was just about a guarantee he'd start here as well.

Kevin Sumlin steals juco DB recruit Otis Jacobs from Vols this morning. Even without DC, Sumlin already paying off for A&M.

- Clay Travis twitter. He got some more fuel for his Dooley hatred today. Does this fool even follow recruiting? We stole him and they stole him back.

It's not like we've got a secondary full of all-conference players back there.

But whatever, at least he wasn't a douche about it I guess.

But who's to say he will be all-conference? Everyone should slow down on counting jucos to be immediate starters and difference makers. Rarely do you have a transfer come in and make an impact. Izzy Lanier and Byron Moore should have more of an impact along with big Mo than ayone being recruited.

I just saw on 247 that Otis didn't even bother to tell Tennessee coaches that he had changed his mind. He siad he told his mom at 1am what he was going to do, called A&M this morning, but didn't talk to Tennessee... our coaches eventually called his mom and got the news that way

I try to never judge or criticize any player on a decision they make as I never know all the details. However, if that is true, that does not sit well with me.

I feel that this post goes a little further than football recruiting. However, don't let this get you down sir.

Blanket statements that insult a large percentage of Volnation members are great.
