No offense, but OCI hasn't exactly had the best track record recently. Regardless of how other think, I take everything I read here with a grain of salt. Whether it be positive or negative. I appreciate inside info, but that doesn't mean whatever they claim is always going to happen. I'll continue to remain optimistic about Davis until im given a good reason not to be.

He "missed" on Autry because Autry lied to our coaching staff. What OCIVol reported about Autry was actually accurate, though, and that has been reinforced by multiple sources, so I don't understand why people are shooting the messenger.

The Autry situation was understandable, but he didn't think we'd get Pig and we did. He even called Patterson 100% to Tennessee at one point and then the tune suddenly changed within a week. As I said, I appreciate the info and will continue to read what he posts until im given a good reason not to, but that doesn't mean im going to believe everything he says either. Its that simple.

The reason OCI and other posters change their mind on certain recruits is because those recruits change their mind. They take new visits, see new campuses, talk to a new HC... they change their mind...

Kinda like my wife.... she says it is her right, but I do not call her a liar or question her cred.... JMHO

As you shouldn't, but like Skeeter said when Gabe Wright went another direction, there isn't an exact science to recruiting. Patterson maybe was telling our coaching staff one thing until it was released that he wouldn't be an EE. Maybe he thought his grades would allow him to transfer in the spring, and unfortunately that is not the case.

I think today was pretty much solidified my reasoning of why I dont take everything OCI has said to heart. I appreciate inside info or whatever, but when you throw around phrases such as 100% Tennessee bound or expect good news tomorrow then you had better be prepared to take the heat for it if you come out wrong on it. Skeet knew Pig was Tennessee bound, OCI thought we wouldn't get him. He even claimed we never had any real interest in Jelks when other recruiting analysts such as Hubbs and Fortenberry said the exact opposite, and that we would take Jelks if he wanted to be here. I know this is recruiting, but if you're not sure of what you're saying then why say it? Im not calling OCI a troll or anything, but I do question whether he has any connections or not.

He looks the part to me, I think he was meant to wear that jersey. I bet it's no coincidence they gave him Poole's jersey..."Here you go Mike...you want to be the next starting RB to wear this jersey?" :)

I don't get why everyone gets all excited when seeing a recruit wear a UT jersey. It means nothing. Almost every visitor does this.
