'12 FL QB Nathan Peterman (UT signee)

In the VQ chat, John Brice said that he was excited to see how the battle for #2 on the depth chart goes for the QB's. He really believes that Peterman has a legit shot to pass Worley. Brice went to the Offense/Defense game and I think he was highly impressed with Peterman's potential. When I read it, it made me feel like we hands down made the right choice.

Not sure if it was Brice or not, but one of the VQ guys said they believe if any of the guys were to jump into the Rivals250 today, it would be Peterman.

I like Peterman too.

Gotta admit tho that I'd like to go one year w/o seeing a fresman qb out there.

They should redshirt him this season. If you actually look at our roster, there was no reason to play Worley either. Not saying Worley wasn't the best option, but no reason to have used him. Already 5 QBs on the depth chart.

There are 3 viable options on the depth chart and that includes Peterman. Nance is no longer on the team. Peterman will have to get ready to play.

welcome to the board... and there is only three that have a shot to play...Bray, Worley and Peterman

5? After Bray, Worley, & Peterman the rest should be walkons.

Peterson seems to have a great upside. But I doubt he'll pass Worley this year. While I was really sorry that Bray got injured, I'm glad that Worley got some game experience. QB dept can be critical to a winning season, and I think we have that now.

The reason Peterman was left out of the 250
"We ranked Peterman behind Wes Lunt in his position rating. Lunt also remained outside the 250. The newest evaluation of Peterman came from Perroni who saw him at O-D Bowl."

Not too surprising...Peterman just has that x factor. Better prospect than Worley coming out of HS, IMO.
