had pretty good numbers for his methods not working don't you think?

1 against UTM, 1 vs Bama, 1 vs USCe, 2 vs vandy, 2 vs Ky, 3 vs UNC. 10 picks in 9 games played. I dont call those pretty good numbers but I do think he'll be fine.

We need taller qb's in my opinion. Bray is perfect. He can see over anybody. He just needs bulk. 6'4"-6'6" is the qb's I like. Along with tall wr's.

No. Not at all. Just answering your insenuation that you can't use jump ball throws effectively or are destined to throw alot more picks if you do. It is another dimension that the DB must defend. If they position themselves to defend the jump ball then maybe you break off on a come back... take off on a go... break across on a drag. If your WR's are as athletic as Rogers and Hunter then the DB has to give something. If DB's play 2 dimensional then the jump ball gives the 3rd dimension and makes coverage another degree more difficult.

Ok. I agree completely with this. It sounded like you were trying to say its easy to do. My main point is this guy is throwing jump balls in high school which makes his stats and highlights look good. But high school level DB's and SEC level DB's are different so he better be able to do more. And this is all based off what i saw in 1 highlight film so in no way am I saying he isn't a good prospect or doesn't have a ton of potential.

He is 6'2 and isn't technically a SR yet. Could add some you never know. I was 5'10 start of SR year and ended up 6'1.Plus when your talking 2 inches in height when your over 6 foot its not that big of a difference. If Breed can see then Peterman can.

He looks like a mixture of sean penn and dumbo.

Like this pick up. He will be a four star by the end of the season.

Jump balls in the first 2 min were at 35 sec 57 sec 1:01 and 1:19. While some are great throws and great catches still jump balls. Im not understanding what everyone's point is towars me? Im not downing this guy or Bray. Simply saying he better be able to read a defense and not just rely on his reciever to go get the ball in college.

I'm not down on you... just discussing it to gain understanding. I am long past getting too hyped or too down over recruits. Who was excited when the 5.6 3* player Dan Williams signed in the same class as 4/5* players like Bolden, Henderson, Mathis,...

Austion Rogers was a 5.5 3* who became a solid role player with decent career stats. The blue chips in that class were Cox, and Shelley.

Point is... I need to see if they can actually play CFB before I get all jacked up. Peterman has at least some of the tools... including good ball placement.

Since you brought up Rodgers and we are already discussing jump balls, when I was in high school he torched me at a passing camp on strictly jump balls. It was bad. But I agree he has some nice tools and seems like a good kid from what I read. i def welcome Mr. Peterman.

Did you see Nee's comment earlier in the thread?

It looks like there's a good chance he's a 4* in the next rankings

i'm about over star gazers who complain about kids who are 3* or lower. sure its nice to go up again people who are fans of other teams and gloat about having a number of high rated recruits. fact is, some don't pan out and are busts. kids who are not ranked as high work harder than other people and commit places WHERE they want to be. this kid is a great pick up and will definitely be in the ears of other kids from florida. Tennessee is a great place to be and Nathan realizes that.

Bold prediction: will be an all SEC QB when his time comes.

Congrats to Mr. Peterman and Go Vols.

the growth spurt thing don't work for everyone. I was 5'11" at the beginning of my SR year and I am still the same height umpteen year later. lol

I just watched the film of both Nathan and Gunner, and am I the only one that liked Nathan's game better? I believe they both need a little work on mechanics, but I like Nathan's pocket presence, release, and overall style better. He's also playing against much tougher competition. I'll hang up and listen.

If they like him enough to offer him on the spot the way they did, then the staff has obviously seen something in him, that puts him above our other QB prospects right now.

You can change your name to Gay4Peter or Gay4Men in a couple of years

Maybe Peterman is better that Kiel?

As my father always says, "stars mean nothing".

lol, burn

How? There are hordes of people who know enough to coach at the collegiate level but weren't willing to put in slave style internship years of all work and no pay. The route to decently paid assistant can be brutal and thankless. Talented people with other options tend to take them.

Welcome aboard, hello momentum!

Indeed. Welcome to the Big Orange. Great to see a bunch of commits. Especially to shut up a few on this board that have NO clue how this process goes. 3 days ago the sky was falling to them.

The kid plays against 5A competition in FL which is something to look at also. Someone commented earlier that Kiel played against stiffer competition. I did not know Indiana was such a great state for literally bursting at the seams with talent.
